OMG I can't believe it, I have manage to misplace £80 of Christmas money that I received, i'm actually crying as I last remember having on Christmas morning with a pile of cards and now I can't find it. I have no idea what has happened to it and i'm panicking that its got thrown in the bin or worse on the woodburner with a pile of Christmas packaging0

Glad you're back and hope the issues with the cottage are resolved, meal plans sound good.
Oh no hope you find the money soon, can you find the cards they were with?
We're not out NYE either, never been into going out much - I'm not sure I'll even bother staying up!

Hope you find the money.Years ago when Mr SA and I were saving for a house his mum accidentally burned an envelope with £150 in on the wood burner :eek:It was a lot of money to us back in the 80s.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

I hope you managed to find the money.0

Panic over and money found, I had put it inside a card which I had put inside a gift bag which had a present in that I had put away in my bedroom. I have now put it in my purse so it is safe.0

Cottage is in the hands of the solicitor so just waiting at the minute and with it being Christmas and New year everything has ground to a halt.
I feel the same about staying up at New Year, it's not as if something magical happens, I really don't get what the fuss is about.0 -

Morning.
I might start taking Christmas decs down today as I can't dust properly and the clutter is driving me mad, I will leave the tree up until NY day.
Managed to declutter a box of mince pies and a bottle of wine with DH last night, good for the house but not good for my waistline.
Yesterdays thriftiness - No CH on just the woodburner keeping the house warm with free wood, i'm liking this mild weather as it is saving us loads on heating oil but i'm sure we will get a cold snap at some point.
4 eggs from the chucks, I let my hair dry naturally instead of using hair dryer, I realised yesterday that apart from some lip gloss on Christmas day I havn't worn make up since I broke up from work 10 days ago. Washing went on airer to dry so no TD used.
Meals from stores today, porridge for breakfast, lunch will be cheese and crackers with fruit and tea we are having pizza and salad. So it is a meat free day which I think we need after all the heavy food over Christmas.
To do list -
5 items on ebay.
surveys
washing and dry on airer.
Take down all decs except tree.
Hoover LR.
Sweep/mop kitchen and dining room.
Tidy my bedroom and put Christmas present away properly.0
