Tandem Bank credit card woes

I received a leaflet with my Tandem statement this month saying that it will be the last paper statement they send to me, they are going entirely paperless. Very welcome as it was an annoyance having to shred the paper statement each time.

Just wondering if anyone has experience making foreign cash withdrawals and avoiding any interest?

If I take the cash out and pay on the same day will I be charged? Has anyone tried this?

What about paying it off before you even withdraw the cash, if possible surely this avoids the need to pay any interest. Does anyone have experience of this?

Putting the account in credit is against the terms of the card and could lead to it being blocked or closed

Just tried my new Tandem credit card, days after being activated via the App, declined at a Tesco petrol station, saying payment not accepted ?? it has 0 balance as well

Was this using the card to pay at the pump? Tandem cards currently don't work at either Tesco or Asda fuel pumps. Tandem are aware of the issue but blame the retailers for not updating their software.

4 weeks of waiting since being referred for further checks for the cashback credit card. Twice I’ve got in touch with them and been told “we’ll get in touch with the relevant team to chase my application”. Feel as if they’re fobbing me off and would prefer for them to be upfront about the realistic waiting time.

I did this and didn’t have a problem. I re-read the terms and didn’t see any prohibition of this.
