Surely your biggest fail is the fact you are posting here on an internet forum about how you have failed not to go online (yet thats the only one not listed as a fail day)

No sorry, the thread is really long now, longer than I expected, so it has kinda lost what we are doing in the posts.

It is when hubby and I are in that the house. So if he is out and I'm in, I can obviously do what I like, and vise versa - like he's out now.

It is so when we are in together, we DO things together. Not separately. So me online isn't a fail so it's not listed. If he was in definitely would be you are right.

Although no internet AT ALL I think could be the next challenge ha ha.

    It was a 70's sci-fi series in children's hour.

Your too young to remember it.

Personally I don't see anything wrong with separate beds especially when she gets up for work at 5am when I don't. I toss and turn a lot.

I do insist on the marriage bed for some of the week which is a bit of a cheek when we've been going for almost 20 years and still not married.

Ha ha that makes sense as a few people said that too..... I was born in the early 70s but never heard of it, feel I missed out now :)

I am after some help, suggestions, creative ideas please.

Hubby and I are, from tomorrow, having a week without the internet. Although there will be some exceptions (we will still have sky/Amazon prime).

The idea is to spend more time together. As it stands, he will play computer games, I will be on my phone and the next thing we know the evening has passed. We are also aiming to go to bed at the same time. At the moment I will go to bed to watch TV at about half 9, he wil come to bed about 11ish.

But....... what on earth do you do? Any ideas? We always make dinner together and eat together, so that will remain the same.

There are films, realistically that is just a couple of hours, we could play board games, again a few hours. So I am after ideas. It is not forever, just a week and we thought it would be fun to see what we can do together - and if we last!

It is too dark/cold for walks, as being outdoors would be so much easier. I was talking at work and most said they just potter and do not spend time with partners.

Any ideas at all, I am open to suggestions. I would like to say I will keep you updated, but it would have to be in my lunch breaks as home is a no internet zone from midnight......

Looking at the date of this post I'm probably a bit late for this, but if it helps anyone: what I tend to do of an evening is read, play the piano, watch something interesting on tv (increasingly rare these days), listen to the radio or to music. I would gladly play cards or board games if OH were keen, but he isn't and I don't know many other people who would be.

In that case, why the ban on using the internet to book tickets and check out restaurants?
