I walk in at 7.30pm. We eat around 7.45pm ...

How are you managing this? It takes me more than 15 minutes to get situated, out of my work clothes, cup of tea

Perhaps you should have a few long discussions about what you're going to do when you both retire.

Apologies if I'm wrong but I seem to think you don't have young children and money isn't tight so can't you go out for dinner, go to the theatre/cinema/gig or go out for a drink?

OH is home all day and cooks dinner for when I'm in the door. I'm straight upstairs, hair up, cosies on, back down for my dinner. He brings it over to me the second I hit the sofa. He makes me a cuppa after dinner :)

I work. He does everything indoors. Unusual, but seems to work for us!

OP is there any sport or entertainment you could both try? Swimming, badminton, dance classes, etc?

I think you could combine traveling somewhere far away along with going on a no internet week. You will feel a bit uncomfortable in the beginning as you will be missing the internet, but you will get over it in a couple of days or so.

You need a good equivalent to keep your engaged offline. The best option is to travel and just forget everything.
