I'd just ignore him*. Every response is just giving him what he wants.
*or string him a long for a bit depending on the entertainment value...0 -
Might be worth calling 101 and asking for the local PCSO to pop round for a chat. His issue is with the contractor, not you. If you were taking a bus to work and the bus (for whatever reason) blocked a car in whilst it picked you up, would the car driver pursue you?
Sounds like he is making you a target and needs to be dealt with by PCSO, make sure they know there is a history of violence.0 -
personally i like the record him on your mobile phone response bestAn answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......0

Grand. Thanks for the quick replies people.
I'm just getting a bit het up knowing he's waiting to pounce for when I get home.
As he was fairly unrelenting last time he decided he had an issue with us I cant see this is going to go away anytime soon. I swear he lives just to have a barney with people.
(to be fair people do park in the lane fairly regularly with little or no consideration to utilise a cut through and if it was my access road it would drive me bonkers too - but I stopped having sympathy when every time someone parked there he knocked on our door asking if it was someone visiting us every. single. time. early day or even very late night - to this very day)Please note I have a cognitive disability - as such my wording can be a bit off, muddled, misspelt or in some cases i can miss out some words totally...0 -
Or the more reason to notify the police, if you sit back and wait for him you might well end up with a broken nose!0

He's not welcome.
End of. Be firm.0 -
I would hope not - I am a teeny tiny little older lady and he is a huge dude. So taking a swing would be very unnecessary as there is no way I could be considered threatening!
Oh, just so everyone is aware when he hangs around at my door he is not on my property - I am a row of mews with our front doors going onto the road. Its an odd set up as it forms part of a converted listed building there is no front garden, gate or land at all. Literally our ownership line starts at the door.
think this type of set upPlease note I have a cognitive disability - as such my wording can be a bit off, muddled, misspelt or in some cases i can miss out some words totally...0 -

Just think how surprised he'd be if you ended up lamping him!
Only way to deal with bullies sometimes.0 -
Lol, it would not be a surprise though.
I would have to get a ladder first, lean it up against him, then scale it before having a pop. Please note I have a cognitive disability - as such my wording can be a bit off, muddled, misspelt or in some cases i can miss out some words totally...0 -
I agree with the suggestion to use the broken record technique.
Just repeat the same two or three key sentences and don't let him engage you in any YeahButNoButYeahButNoButYeah stuff.
One of the key sentences would be to tell him that if he doesn't stop harassing you, you will contact the police.(Nearly) dunroving0
