Having this tread linked back to another it reminded me to post a quick update. I've not had a peep from lane guy. Not even when cars have parked in the lane. Nada.
Sadly that maybe because the gent that did the land registry search is now in lane dudes sights....... The gent has had a sudden and unexpected fence fire, some paint thrown at his door and a dent appear on his car.
It sounds like you don't need to worry about privacy issues with the CCTV. Anyone on your street in their right mind would agree to it for their own sake as well as yours.
You need to build up evidence.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Only just read this thread today, just wanted to say how sorry I am that you and your neighbours are having to go through this, it sounds like the guy is completely out of control.
Horrible when a situation gets to this stage where you no longer feel entirely comfortable in your own home
CCTV sounds like all you can do, he either stops behaving this way or the police can no longer ignore the situation when evidence is presented, it can't be allowed to carry on like this.
Good luck with it all anyway0 -

Well - I guess that's established whether lane dude thinks logically/rationally or no. He obviously doesnt - and so I guess it's pointless for us now to urge any logical course of conduct as a way of dealing with him.
Time for the CCTV cameras I'm afraid. Hope "Mr New Target" is keeping a diary record and photos?0 -

Many years ago I had a family like that in my close. The kids would throw eggs, sand, cut flowers and the like. The parents never noticed and just by chance, their cars were never in the firing line.............no eggs on their car as the kids knew better and were more careful............however I soon fixed that once everyone went to bed, and it never happened anymore.0 -
Sounds like the lane gent is lucky to not get dog crap, petrol or a match through his door in the middle of the nightAn answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......0

I've also been looking for this thread too but I forgot the title!
Thanks for coming back to update us. Sounds like the situation is going from bad to worseLike others have said, CCTV is definitely needed now.
I hope you get this sorted soon, Tygermoth.0
