Should I consolidate my interest free debt
Comments

It feels like you are looking for someone to justify your idea to get a loan.
As people have advised, I would continue to pay £700 a month towards the credit cards. If you get a loan (which sounds like a big if) you won't be solving the problem of how the debt occurred.
You have already said that your debt came from unexpected bills. What if you took out a consolidation loan and then something came up requiring you to use a credit card again?
Continue to pay the cards off and look at your outgoings. If you can make some cut backs, throw the extra money at the cards.
I had £2,000 debt on my card a few months ago and now I'm sitting at £750. I know that this isn't as much as yours but I've plugged away each month and am now in the home stretch and it feels good. I actually feel like I'm in control and that I've overcome the issues that caused my debt.0 -
OP it doesn't matter if debt is sitting at 0% if you are chipping away at the debt that will start to incur interest first. It would make a massive difference if it was the other way around.
You won't see the benefit until debt A or card A is cleared and you start paying the same amount towards debt B on card A.
You are concentrating too much on the way your debt may incur interest in the future rather than paying down ASAP.
keep chipping away - it will all make sense in the long run.
