won laser eye surgery if I don't bottle it.(advice wanted)

Had lasik 2 years and one week ago now (got really lucky and won the whole package from Ultralase!), I wouldn't be that worried about the risk of being hit in the eye, all the stuff I read on lasik say basically if you are hit in the eye hard enough to dislodge the lasik flap it would probably be hard enough to blind you even if you'd never had surgery. It certainly didn't cause any concerns to the Ultralase folks that I did contact martial arts. Sounds a bit like they could be trying to persuade you to shell out more hard earnt cash than you need!
