roundtuit, I was looking at my PMs earlier, and found the last one toots sent me, made me smile. I still have things on my toots list from then which is shameful.

Having written numerous toots lists over the years (and mislaid them :() I now have a toots list notebook with an index and separate sections -one for each room / shed / part of the garden :D I had a wonderful time writing all the lists :D; not so keen on actually doing the jobs :o

(I can see the notebook; I need to make use of it as part of the H2H challenge really.)

Round 3 completed :D My 15 minutes bumbling turned into another WUDU of a bag of pots given to me years ago and never used. I now have my new plates in the cupboard washed and ready to be used - they've been sat on the microwave for [STRIKE]months[/STRIKE] over a year :o; a bag of mismatched crockery to go to the cs; and a completely empty kitchen base unit :T The only other bag in there contained a Christmas present received by DS ...in 2016  (well I'm assuming it was 2016 :rotfl: it definitely wasn't last Christmas :D)

So, DS has a nice new wash bag, face cloth & smellies as well as the 95 euros that I found last week :D Who knows what other treasures are waiting to be found :T This is the up side of decluttering chez Roundtuit :T.

Going to bimble now - that's a small bumble :D I'm going to put my 'rainy day' wodge into a purse I received at Christmas; attach new key ring (owl) to the back door key and put the old key ring in the cs bag; and tick off Christmas cards received, keep the 'special' ones and recycle the rest. Every little tiny step is a step forwards :)

Love to you all from 'the world at number six'(as DS's dad calls this house ;))

I've given in and got a doctor 's appointment as although the cough is improving my throat is really painful , swallowing actually makes me whimper. Can't even face breakfast so maybe it will help slinkiness. So grateful I got an appt for today but had to cancel both gym classes.

    Kitchen, report and mil today.

After packing Mr N off on hols last week with antibiotics, I now have some of my own, doc hopes it is a bacterial throat infection rather than viral which of course wouldn't respond to them. Working out 4x dosage per day an hour after food and 2hrs before food (or is it the other way round - must check) is a feat in itself. Mr N emailed me today saying he is still coughing so can I make him an appt for Thursday. Really, can someone please fumigate the entire world so we can all stop coughing etc?

Took MIL for a walk up her high street to get a couple of things, lovely and sunny but a biting wind so we went to C0sta on the way home.

Kitchen is now pretty good; practically nothing but a small pile of paper which shouldn't be there; all surfaces clear and cleaned; all appliances wiped; all cupboards and drawers wiped; floor swept and mopped. Feel quite keen to clear out another couple of cupboards but not yet.

    En suite mopped.

Had long phone conversation with the dad of a potential client, booked her assessment.

Doing well on the next report.

    Various other admin tasks done.

ATB and everyone else -what Mumof 2 said, and lovely horse.

This morning I have done the dailies, dusted the dusty bits in the LR, thoroughly cleaned the downstairs loo, walked the dogs and hoovered downstairs. I don't have to go the the shop now, DH has said he'll run that errand, so job search begins again now.

    Have a great day everyone.

Thank you mumof2. Hug very much appreciated :). Lovely horse :)

Anybody else singing this in their head now?

Much cleaning and tidying done at work. Finished the first huge job 2 and a half minutes before an unscheduled decision to allow the Offspring of the Parish into the room to keep warm. I was therefore not responsible for any mess left up there. Finished the second part just before I finished for the day, next big event is tomorrow.

    *breaks into song*

I don't like Mondays...the silicon chip inside my head has switched to overload...

I've just sat down, after a disappointing paprika pork dinner (I don't like pork, so why do I buy it?) and a full-on day that started at 6am.

    Wait! I'm getting back up....it's OK, I'm only getting a G&T...large, obvs.

Tried to fly around the chaos of my existence, which is life at present, but I think the best I can say is that I've done some ironing and got a [STRIKE]large[/STRIKE] top-up food shop.

Brain is fried, so I will need to re-read all the news again in the morning. Hugs being sent out in all directions X

jojo.. no, just you... I am utterly terrified of hell beasts (horses to silly people :p) They bite peoples faces off, and they have super scary eyes.. like cows.. and they sprang forth from Hell.. and on the last day they will bring forth the demons from Hell to consume our souls... I don't like them.. and I would NEVER EVER over-react to them at all, not ever.. and never watched Father Ted.

Oh.. and one time I did not cross the street to avoid hellbeasts with plods on them.. and I did not ever walk around a corner to be face to face with one, scream like a banshee and flee in the opposite direction and have to call someone else to pick up my children from school.. because that would be silly right?! lol

    DW done.. once
parcel posted.. glasses cannot be fixed so new ones being ordered. The shop broke these making them in the first place.

    well it's been a day

in summary - am in good books of HT as had inspirational thought which came to fruition for cover tomorrow and got that sorted

am in own good books as BALANCED RECONCILIATION OF DINNER MONEY withour swearing, recalculating and rechecking

    which was hard to learn...lol

and am in own good books as did not blast at *sensitive* colleague who was having a moment at me WHILE I WAS ON THE PHONE LEARNING HOW TO DO A JOB ON THE COMPUTER AND TRYING TO DO IT AND DIDN'T TELL HER TO WAIT, OR GO AWAY OR WORSE.

another colleague (and friend) did spot I was somewhat stressed.

this means slinky challenge has failed. ate chocolate.

however had lost one whole lb at SW so that was good

Pigpen that was so funny!!! I nearly choked on my bedtime muesli. DS talks about looking after his babies at work. His babies are two 7 and 9 month old Colts, who are huge, strong, wilful and mostly untrained. He regularly gets bitten, stamped on and occasionally pinned against walls. Oh and apparently his horses are shredding which means he came home covered in horse hair!

No wonder we get mixed up atb, we both have the same worries. Hope the week gets better x

Gym first thing before paid stuff. Home to Hoover through, swish surfaces, mop floors, put a load of washing on. More paid stuff and back to job no. 1 for a meeting.

    Bed now.

.......... Cleaned the (new) microwave but noticed that this one pools even more water than the old one. The vents are on the sides so not blocked and I leave the door open after I have used it but v frustrating as it will just flake and rust like the old one.
Where is the water pooling ??

Back safely from Valencia but have brought back unwanted items - a runny nose, annoying cough, general aches and v sore throat which started whilst away.

As feeling v yuk I managed to get an emergency apt at doc's. He seemed convinced it's a virus - so nothing except a suggestion for visit to pharmacy for an anaesthetic throat spray. It helps for about half an hour but can only have eight lots a day !

So not much flying done here I'm afraid. I have managed to down-load the suitcases and sort washing, done the dailies and cooked food. Sent DH to shops with a list (which surprisingly he used) and done on-line order for Mr T for Thursday.

Oh Pigpen, this did make me smile - sorry and all that!! They can be intimidating but I don't think our Breggey will bring forth the demons from Hell - she's an :A

Thought I'd get up early to get some work done then really have to try to fly after back from the stables. Things seeming much better with DD - we had a good chat whilst I let her tidy up my eyebrows (which she loves to do!) and it was really nice to spend time with her.

Lynne hope you had a lovely time away but sorry you are unwell, so many nasty viruses etc around everywhere.

Yorkshirelass what job does DS do with horses?

Valli sounds like you had a Very Good Day yesterday!

JoJo love the song, thanks for sharing :rotfl: I adore Father Ted

Have a good day everyone x
