Pigpen You know he's only there for effect! But you prefer children to men? even hot men? even hot shirtless firemen playing volley ball on a warm summers evening just as your driving home and stuck in traffic? even tasty police man who flirts that he is going to have to take you in (to?) the cells? :A

Go me, I hung wet washing over radiators and what not, put clean stuff away and did a bit more of 'The Tip'. :j

It would be time to start dinner, but hubby wants me to wait till he is home. So... what can I do while I have caffeine giving me energy? Dishes maybe? S&S loo?

I decided I need a hobby when telly guy in London says 'so what would you be doing if we hadn't brought you down here?' and I said 'Housework.'

they get round it now by claiming it's 'market research' - ie - they ask you some questions first!

OMG what a lazy day. Managed to get up in time for my hair appt at 9 which took longer than expected. All credit to the girl (as I wouldnt have noticed) but some of the colours had bled through and so she had to redye them. Then I did a quick shop to stock up on cake ingredients, dropped OH repeat prescription into Doctors, got DS some GCSE revision books from poundland and took back a pair of trousers I bought which are too big. Came home and had a cuppa and a piece of carrot cake (which I am wondering if you can freeze as well - mine has the frosting on top) and then lay down on the sofa for a 10 min power nap that has lasted until now  . Now having a quick cuppa before taking doogie out for her walk and getting more milk as want to make macaroni cheese for tea. Havent even looked at todays list but I did buy oven pride today so might even finish cleaning the oven today!!!

Hope the walk wakes me up - see you all later

I like HOT men, but trouble is as you get into your forties you begin to realise that you're old enough to be their mum :o

DH is now not coming home! The mechanic is going out to him tomorrow so he's stuck on the services for the night.

DS has just gone to his swimming lesson with Grandad so just me and DD here. Tesco delivery coming between 6 and 8 so i've got to wait for that now.

    My plan of action was:

    When DH got home,
    Have tea
    Wash dishes
Have nice long soak in bath

    leaving DH to,
Sort out Tesco delivery when it comes
Get kids sorted and in bed

Now, I've got to wait for Tesco delivery to arrive, put it away, get kids in bed, wait for them to go to sleep and then, if I'm lucky, have a bath without the kids deciding to get out of bed because I'm upstairs.

Tea under construction - Roasties in oven, cheese sauce made just waiting for cauli to finish steaming, mince beef & onion in gravy defrosted and warming, pie crust done and about to go in oven.

Oh no my ..... key has just come loose/off.

Trifle made and sampled - very yummy.

I should get some ironing done tonight, not promising anything as I should dye my hair, dry and straighten it too.

Tea done and nearly tidied up. At least in one hour at least one will be in bed - aiming for more than that of course.
