Evening all, still on my prehistoric laptop & internet connection
getting there slowly with house, 2 book cases and dvd/cd tower built today so will start filling them tomorrow, unpacked another 5 bags of clothes & linen. 3 more wash loads washed and dried, another 2 washed & will try to line dry tomorrow, can't go in the drier
Car is almost sorted now, been back for the 4th time today with it, brakes work without screaming now, seat belt works, lights fixed, holes in the dashboard/glove box fixed just waiting for the plastics for the seat but will take them another few days to get the part.Went to look for new shoes for me today, not much success, none I liked in my size
I want Hush Puppies as they are the only shoes which have lasted me, so going to try their other store next week when kids back to school, buy one get one half price in Brantanos until a week on Sunday
may aswell get 2 pairs! Little Matthew is back in hospital
his sats dropped so they have kept him in until his op which should, fingers crossed, be next week. His Mam isn't happy of course as was nice having him home but the hospital knows best, if it's safer that he stays in then he'll have to. I'll be hopefully going to see them one day next week. Off for a read for however long my internet connection lasts!!
Sorry thanks button & paragraphs still broken. One day I might be more organised...........

deciding to have a look on here as Lo woke at 4.30 again - OH took his bottle in at 5 which somehow he managed to spill everwhere whilst drinking so we had to wash him and dress him, strip cot and put him in his pram to get back to sleep!
So after all that they are al snoring away and I just feel carppy all day if I have another half hour.
Might start some early flying!
After all that0 -
Right the WM is on, the kids have been fed and I've put batteries in a toy - is that enough for today?
Am determined to try and get the kids to do something in their bedrooms today - even if it is just to clear some floor for me to hoover!
I think I'm going to do some ironing now and then put some clothes away.
Sending healthy wishes to Matthew.
Catch you all in a bit

Okay I've done some ironing - just need to put the clothes away now. Having chicken for tea tonight - don't know whether to stick it in the oven now or leave it until later.
I suppose if I go and put the kids' clothes away now then I can attempt to get them to make a start on their bedrooms.
I think I'm talking to myself anyway:rotfl:

Morning, having a bit of a panic, its hubby's birthday on wednesday:D
Which is fine, but he's just announced he's "invited some people round for a party"
The house is nowhere near good enough for people to come and see, i think if i get them drunk they maybe wont notice we dont have a bathroom door etc!!!
Plus i'm working today and tomorrow and got a big game on sunday(after which i tend to just lie in a heap for the rest of the evening!):rotfl:
Need to get some serious flying, and DIY-ing done:oThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
