  • Hello everyone. Well, I'm recovering from a killer migraine today, and boy am I glad I did the kitchen and bathroom earlier this week! It makes being ill sooo much more comfortable. When I'm unwell it always makes me realise how dirty the flat is, but this week I felt that it was really clean and under control. :T

Right, all I'm going to do today is:

[strike] a load of laundry[/strike] drying on an airer as I type
    change the sheets
    dust and hoover bedroom
    change litter tray

Should be able to get that lot done in short bursts while taking breaks from the computer. Haven't started work yet today but OH is out with his mates this evening, so if I'm feeling less groggy later I'll still be able to get a day's work in, finishing about 8pm in time to veg out on sofa with the cat.:D

  • Woke with a really bad head this morning and has taken this long to pull round. Lots to do today; kids rooms are tidy to the untrained eye but open toy boxes or cupboards and argghh! Hoping to get some of this sorted today to declutter for Christmas / baby in January coming along to add his own clutter! And want to do a quick maintenance sweep over of rest of house (though why I bother when OH comes home Friday nights to undo my good work, I really don't know)

    Morning all

One load of washing done. I draped it round the radiators etc because it was so damp and dark, but the sun has come out now so I've put it out on the line.

Vacuumed through downstairs and S & Sd kitchen.

Did all the bedrooms Wednesday so I don't have that to do.

Glad you're settling in OK lil-me. I still feel tired just reading your posts! Hope Matthew keeps well enough for his operation.

PS pigpen (and everyone else who manages to do this) how exactly do you manage to get the daily list on your post? I have tried, and always seem to end up with weird spacing!!

    Morning all

DD2 came in at 3.30 this morning, couldnt find her cuddly cat - went to bedroom lifted duvet and there it was! She went back off ok until 5am when both little darlings decided it was playtime:mad: .

    So today I have:-

    Walked woof
    Ironed DH work shirt
    Fed kids
    S & S Kitchen
1 x Wm and pegged out but just hangling limply:rolleyes:
Dyed 2 pairs of jeans (just on second wash)
    S & S Longe
    S & S Bathroom
    Hoovered through
Picked up all the stuff the dog has chewed to bits in garden
    Mowed back garden lawns
    Mowed front lawn
    Weeded front garden
Chased dog for 20 mins as girls opened 2 gates and let him out:mad:
    Scoffed bowl of trifle
Phoned Mum to check Dad got back ok

Feeling bit tired now but should take woof for another walk although after his run around the cul-de-sac he seems knackered. Think girls may have nodded off too as very very quiet in lounge.

    Still to do:-

Make bread rolls to go with tea (maybe garlic bread)
Rinse machine through to remove all traces of dye
    Take milk out of freezer
    Feed littles again
Transfer funds from paypal to bank account
Mop kitchen, bathoom and porch floors

JillD - I am currently a size 18 thanks to my tummy. I have tried those magic knickers but they didnt seem to make any difference to me, maybe I should have got a smaller size?
