It had one sock in it last night when I went to bed.. Then.. hubby brought his laundry down, then DD1 then the rest is from the girly room.. but I didn't know it was like that until I'd stripped my bed and brought my sheets down!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Poor !!!!!! The front line baldy patch grows back, but weepy bites need seen too!
Do they store the dirty stuff on their bedroom floor? Then bring it through once a week? My older bro STILL does that and he is 23!! My Mum used to make me do it all myself.
Funny, I was talking to my Dad yesterday about it. He is getting about on crutches and can wash the dishes but thats about it. He was complaining about my bro who still lives at home and how he does nothing. Leaves dirty plates in his room, can't wash dishes or clothes, can't tidy up or hoover (well, won't) and want to know how he irons his clothes? Puts them in the TD for 5 mins then pops them on! I said it was their own fault. They made me do all that stuff (I ironed my own stuff since I was 13) and since secondary school, I was expected to tidy up, do dishes and hoover before parents came home. When I left school and still stayed at home I did all the cleaning. I don't feel annoyed about it, but I do feel annoyed that bro doesn't have to do it and has never had to do it.
I had a good old laugh to myself though
OK, I was a good girl!
filled a bag of junk from my room, remember THAT corner? It's clear! But, can't do much more except put clothes away until hubby is home. Most of the stuff up there needs to go in the loft.
So I think I may just have a look at bedroom furniture....0 -
Feeling a little more like myself after something to eat, hadn't realised I'd not eaten yet today. Managed to remake my bed and got 2 washloads dry from having the heating on all day. Its like a little sauna here which is great for loosening my cough! Envying you getting a TD Tia..
I've also cleaned up a mobile ready to send for 2000 Nectar points. BM is on and apart from that I've just been muddling about. I really need to sort the spare room but the ironing in there keeps looking at me..I'm going for a half hour challenge if anyone wants to play. make it back at 3 and I'll vacc the bedrooms and livingroom too. Then I think I deserve a bed on the sofa and a film. One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

We've had the frontline patch before.. I'd rather he had a bald bit for a couple of weeks than was hopping with fleas! I'll get a can of the spray when I get to vets later though.. he is ok with the spray but his brother foams and froths at the mouth so has to have drops. I just hope it isn't too expensive!! Last time we took him to vet is cost us £285 for 3 lots of AB's and an x-ray. they thought he had leukemia but it turned out to be 'just' a massive infection in his shoulder.. thankfully!!! That took 2 months and 5 trips to the vet to cure!.. This time we are going before it gets complicated.
Tia I was a regular Cinderella as well. I did the cooknig and the cleaning and the lunches and the school runs and the bathing and the putting to bed and the babysitting EVERY night.. literally.. My 2 sisters did nothing.. and one of them (youngest) is a total pig.. the other is getting better but is still not perfect.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I'll join you Solway - have managed a fat lot of sod all this week - stupid shifts and yesterday felt pants - let's see what we can do before 3
Ready, steady, go............................................I'd rather be watching CSI!0 -
i'll do a half hour challenge. Just had a half hour upstairs changing beds and sorting washloads out (ish) but i reckon i have about half hour of school work to do, so i will tackle that now, and meet you back here in 30 mins.
on your marks, get set.....
GO!
OK - in my half hour i have:
done the rest of the school stuff for the website, completed a survey at the door and let the nice young man have my pen as his had run out, emptied the WM, took the clothes upstairs, emptied the 2 airers, folded/sorted the clothes that came off them, put wet clothes on the airers and then brought a load of DS stuff down to put in the WM, although it can wait a bit to switch on as he will have mucky clothes on which can be added to it when he gets bathed tonight.
not really tried a challenge for a long while, but they certainly do work at making you move like the wind.0 -
That's a bit better - thanks for the shove Solway and Michelle - that's got me started anyway.
Managed:-
S + S bathroom
S + S kitchen
Cleaned loo and loo floor
Swept bathroom and kitchen floors
Wet mopped bathroom floor
Emptied washing machine and hung up to dry
Still to do:-
Mop kitchen floor
Vac house top to bottom
Iron uniform for work when its dry
Asda shop
Boots for their Xmas event
Have a quick scooch round shops for a new coat
I'd rather be watching CSI!0 -
How'd you go likklegibbon and Michelle?
Stripped spare bed, it's in WM now. Emptied the room of dumped stuff, redumped it in front porch (can't be assed to go down the garden to the garage) vacc'd in there for cat hairs and my room and the livingroom. Did what ironing was dry - there wasn't much really once I'd put non-irons away. I'm going to leave the board up for the remainder when it's dry and voila! empty wash basket! Still have t remake the spare bed but it's visitor ready now..One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400
