My kitchen has been TRASHED!! Lunch is on, pasta bolognaise.
JJ I'd maybe keep what you can't bear to part with if you honestly think you could get back into it, the rest ebay! However, its best to get rid of it all, you will feel so much better with clothes that do fit rather than keeping stuff that will make you feel like you HAVE to loose weight. Love yourself babe!
Pigpen As hubby went and spend a shocking amount on a telly (50inch plasma, guess!) i decided to just get a TD! Got £13.50 from quidco, used free delivery and 5% off at currys and it was on sale! A nice new hoover (I think) condenser dryer 7kg, low power usage etc etc arriving Monday!
So, should I just leave all the washing till then?
And did you say tesco do dryer balls? What do they do?
I figure I can save an hour a day and we all know I hate drying clothes. Plus it gets rod of dog hair and saves on ironing and I DESERVE IT!!!!:j0 -
wow, i thought my hubby was mental buying a 42" plasma, 50" is huge. Thats what we use at work to show big matches!!!!!:eek:The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

oh, well, you see, the 42 inch was out of stock, and as our old (plain pacific normal sized living room telly) was dead and he needed one, he just said yes. Good job he took the estate down, back seats down and it just fitted in the car! Did get a full book of tesco sports vouchers though!

[strike]Fill a binbag for charity.. I don't care what is in it.. shoes, clothing, towels, linen, curtains.. just get rid!!!![/strike]
Deep Clean Challenge
Clear a space to stash christmas gifts.. having one box per child and one for family usually makes a massive difference to ease of wrapping, saves sorting and if you have 3-4-10 boxes stashed they have been there so long it doesn't make any difference and noone sees the insides filling up!!Oh b**! Just lost the beautiful multicoloured post I created! Oh well, just boasting that I did under the bed, gave bags of stuff to DS1 and 2, and said that they'd have to keep it in their own room. Lots to sell on ebay now, and a bag out for charity collection as I type! And you should have seen the size of the spider I chased round and relocated outside!!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

afternoon everyone.
having a day off - working from home with my head teachers permission as it is a teacher training day. i have spent just over an hour so far doing the work i was supposed to do, and about 2/3rd of the way there so i might do lunch in a moment and then finish that off so i can have a few hours with a bit of flying and then a bit of dossing before picking charlie up again.
anyway, achieved today:- put out recycling
- put bin out tomorrow
- made appointment to see midwife for 21/11 which is the same day that charlie has his next jab - just need to book that off now.
- had an hours lie in this morning
- went to co-op and got some bread and a paper
- was in to pay the window cleaners.
- [STRIKE]finish writing things for the school website for the last 2 topics[/STRIKE]
- prepare my teacher file for a meeting tomorrow morning
- [strike]wash up last nights dishes and those from today[/strike].
- [strike]get a washload of my clothes through the WM[/strike]
- [STRIKE]hang up on airers[/STRIKE]
- [strike]change our bedding[/strike]
- [strike]change charlie's bedding[/strike]
- get WM on again with some DS stuff
- sort through the 2 black bags of toys/clothes that came from my family for charlie's birthday, as we just dumped them on the living room floor last night when we got in.
- order special kidney cat food on line
- looked at internet banking in all 3 accounts
- transferred charlie's birthday money into his savings account
- worked out what i should save between now and next maternity leave, which is around 120 quid a week for the next 22 weeks to hit a 10,000 target as there is a car that may become available in that time and if it does i will be wanting to buy it. - so thinking of ways to thrift

- started making a list of what i need to do next week when charlie is in nursery
a big wave and hugs to you all - it seems really weird that we are about to start half term when so many of you are just about to finish. Well done on the house move lil-me, and nicki and rach enjoy your time away.
right, suppose i had best go do something as it won't do itself.

Wow Tia that is some telly. Will not show it to DH as he will drool. We have got a 42" sony widescreen but he needs (so he says) a flat screen lcd all singing all dancing one - until the next best thing comes along. Surprised he has kept me all this time and not traded me in:rotfl: , probably scared i would take all his gadgets in the divorce settelment and leave him with the kids:D :rotfl: .
Just made a sponge for my trifle and fairy cakes for kids to decorate. Littles helped make sponge (as in knock flour all over floor and eat as much as possible before mum gets it in tins:D . Oven just rung so off to have a look.
Now I best get them some lunch, oh and I still have not got the stuff out of the freezer that I needed, bum!
Juliejim - I agree with pigpen and tia (that was a fab comment by the way). Ebay the lot shop with the proceeds. Clothes shops these days seem to design for people with smaller assets. I know even before I had the kids I struggled to get a top to go under my size 12 suit. I ended up getting a size 20:eek: as it was the only way it would fit round the chest due to the darting they had stitched in, just looked like a tent everywhere else:mad: .0 -

And did you say tesco do dryer balls? What do they do?
The dryer balls reduce the length of time it takes to dry the clothes and eliminate the need for fabric conditioner. They create extra friction in the dryer so bounce all the fibres fluffy and knock the water out of them.. reduces environmental issues.. less energy used so better for the earth and your bills!! (damn I could write commercials) I have a set of tesco ones and a set of lakeland ones.. the lakeland ones are better so I just use one and one in each of the dryers.. to balance it out.. works well in my head!
And I have 2 of those dryers.. I won't tell you I'm not too impressed with mine then, eh?
