Great to hear that you've moved in. Hope you get broadband soon, it makes you realise just how addicted you get. Just think, after Friday you'll never have to see those neighbours again. Cause for celebration I think. Wishing lots of happiness in your new place xx

We could have a Lil_me housewarming party on Friday night when she finally says goodbye to the wasters who were her neighbours. Anyone up for it _party_ _party_ _party_ _party_ _party_ _party_ _party_ _party_ . Hope you gonna be happy lil.

Well we're all very full of cake here, Have made the massive coffee sponge and the carrot cake is to die for and I made it GF so I can eat it too (cant remember who's recipe it was originally but it was the one you used pigpen). Mmmmmm delicious. The chocolate bread :o , well I think the kids wil find it interesting to say the least, but my program was too long so it was a bit well done on the outside. How long is your choc bread prog pigpen just in case the kids want it again.

Gotta go clean the kitchen AGAIN now so will say night night for now.
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

  • Well, been up since just before 5 so could have started early apart from the fact that DD sneaked into my bed last night (not that that's unusual when OH working away!) and I can't do the bedroom as I don't want her up yet!

Have managed to empty dishwasher and washing machine that ran overnight and put another load of washing in though, so not all time wasted. Have done some computer-y stuff as well including checking the parcelforce website. A parcel that was posted to e on the 16th Oct (by 48 hour delivery!) finally left my local centre for delivery at midnight so should hopefully arrive today! Typically, this is the day my Mum is supposed to be taking me out for lunch though so I hope it's here by then!

Well I've already given the LR a quick hoover this morning and I'm just about to put a wash on. Not sure how much I'll get done today it depends on the kids.

DH has promised them some cash if their bedrooms are tidy when he comes home tonight. DD did some to hers yesterday but DS has done nothing so might end up helping them with those today if they want to tidy them.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Morning all

Well feeling slightly more motivated than yesterday. So far this morning

DD2 put back to bed at 4.30 (no it is not time to get up:mad: )
DD1 came into bed for cuddle as DD2 snoring woke her up:rotfl: (5.45am)
    Woof walked
DH work shirt ironed (must do some more tonight)
Kids breakfast scoffed (just need to clear it up)

Life would be much improved if my kids could just sleep until 7am. Why oh why do they want to start the day at 5.30am:confused: . PIGPEN, is there some magic treat to get them to sleep later? or drugs you can use lol!

So just the lounge to catch up on which should not be too bad as sofas moved and hoovered under last week plus window cleaned inside and out and net washed:D Not sure what todays task is so will go and have a look in a mo.

    Extras for me

    Make trifle
    Make jam tarts
Make fairy cakes for littles to decorate
    Dye hair
Phone bowling place for prices for DD1 birthday

Great to here your settling in Lil_me, as for your horrible neighbour I really hope he ends up with some thug living nextdoor that makes his life hell! ;)

[STRIKE]Clear a space to stash christmas gifts.. having one box per child and one for family usually makes a massive difference to ease of wrapping, saves sorting and if you have 3-4-10 boxes stashed they have been there so long it doesn't make any difference and noone sees the insides filling up!![/STRIKE]wish I wasn't doing baskets as they take up so much room :D-May try and get some organised so i can attempt to wrap them up

Hello all. Lil me-hope it is going ok. Have to say we had a similar problem with internewt when we moved. Unofretunately DH could play his game:rolleyes: on dial up but we didn't check the cost (dial up seems so much more expensive than it used to) ended up costing a fortune. I gave up as it was to slow. Will be great when you have settled down. Your are probably too busy to enjoy broadband at the mo anyway. We had 2 weeks with no phone

Hugs to all those that want/ need one.

Ds got a party for 2 girls today so hope it will be fun. Hope DD will be alright.
