Hi everyone, just a quick update from me. We’ve moved :D Costing me a fortune so far, paid over £100 to replace the fence at the old house & some idiot has already damaged it. Just been to Ikea to buy a few bookcases, mainly after moving about 10 boxes of DS1s books! Still a massive amount of unpacking to do, house still full of boxes but getting there eventually. Did however find that missing hose which vanished from the garden. It suddenly appeared on Monday in the neighbours garden, they must not have thought we were going back! By the time we’d gone to empty a van load & gone back the slide had gone, of course that is in his garden aswell, not that I cared as was only going to the tip. Anyway we took the hose back. I also called him several unpleasant names :D He got someone else to sit in the house when they went out, guessing they thought we were going to do something, suppose I was stood with a crow bar in my hand when I was shouting at him as I was in the middle of ripping wood flooring up. Need to go back there on Friday to check for any post before we hand keys in, redirected mail after then. Internet been a major issue, broadband hasn’t been activated, could take another 3 weeks, how I am coping I don’t know. They didn't process the order I placed weeks ago, grr, at least I also know why it was on after the 20th. Dial up works when it feels like it hence typing this into word then copy/paste as I’ve lost my post several times so far. My god it’s slow aswell. Hope everyone is ok, will try catching up when my connection allows it! Pigpen thanks for holding the fort, will be back with you as soon as I can!
SORRY wouldn't let me change that to paragraphs!!!

  • Aw nuts...I think I can pretty much scratch out any flying to be done this week. I hate working afternoons, I can't get up enough time before my shift, and it's too late when I come home.
Earlys I can cope with, evenings I prefer, but afternoons...gah!

So no flying done today either, and I doubt I'll even bother tomorrow, still me house isn't too bad. Bathroom looks clean, kitchen looks clean, front room is ok, and it's not as if I've got any visitors coming round this week.

I hate it when you go to put a child to bed and then remember that your stripped the bed earlier and have forgotten to remake it.

I feel so grumpy that I don't want to be in the same room as myself.

I have so been there though I often do all three beds so realisation one hasn't been made spells disaster, lol! Hope you're finding yourself better company!

    Hiya Lil_me
Great to hear that you've moved in. Hope you get broadband soon, it makes you realise just how addicted you get. Just think, after Friday you'll never have to see those neighbours again. Cause for celebration I think. Wishing lots of happiness in your new place xx

I would give my dishwasher for broadband at the minute, actually maybe not :D doesn't help that the only computer we have with a modem is an old laptop, which is slow as a snail anyway!!!! Keeping up with the 'normal' stuff has been the most difficult task, laundry, meals, floors clean (well keeping up with dog hair removal mainly) etc, trying to keep up with the laundry which I bought a massive amount with us like curtains, bedding etc is a nightmare, drying it all another matter, I left some out last night by accident and it was all **stiff** this morning :rotfl: lesson learned there. Kids handling it really well, now the boys have seperate rooms DS2 is taking great pride in keeping his tidy so far, just hope that lasts. Youngest dog has been the worst, crying, following me around (was bad before but worse now) crying when we go out etc, but settling down slowly. Jue, thank you, I have replied.I don't know why paragraphs playing up but also thanks button just takes me to the top of the page, so sorry, I did try :o I need to find Penelope Penguin's macaroon recipe and the search won't work for me :( sobs in her hot chocolate
