Morning all,
I'm off work with the super snots today. Don't plan on doing much or even getting dressed if I can help it. I've just stripped my bed though so I'll have to remake it if I need to crawl back in later.
Lil_me, glad you've got back on line even if it's the expensive option. I hope your awful neighbour gets his karma and that DS2 settles soon.
I've already rung work to say I'm not coming in but they have a stupid rule that you have to speak to one of the managers and of course they don't all swan in until half an hour after we open so I've got to stay up 'til 9. 15 minute challenge for me then! One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

A house warming party for lil_me on Friday night sounds a great idea

Ok back in the real world 'kevin' has already had a strop because his bike has a flat tire again.
My motivation has gone. Please all keep a look out for it when changing your beds.
Right need to get in the shower to take DS1 to golf (worth it for the hours of peace which will follow) then carry on to Waitrose with the other two as we need food - again!
Hope to fly a bit or at least sort a cupboard etc later.
Lil-me wishing you a happy time in your new home - just remember the old saying new home, new baby (always happened to me so we are staying put) and with all that dust about you need to take cover (unless you want another one:eek: )The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Morning all :hello:
At IL's place. Managed to get myself out of bed at 4.30, left ours about 5.45 and got here just after 8am (and only got stuck in traffic just down the road at some traffic lights due to the morning influx of workers). Everyone has left, and I've been given the instructions of how to do stuff (like work their new fire) and now its time to do a couple of dailies here :- Pack dishwasher (will put it on either tonight or tomorrow since there are only three of us there isn't much to put in it)
- S&S kitchen
- Tidy DD's room
- Take cases up to bedroom

Wonder what I'll do today?
Catch up later :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Another one with the sniffles here. ((())) to everyone else with the colds.
shell - you have to wait until they are teenagers, when you won't be seeing them before midday. There are in fact several disadvantages to this - getting them up for school is just one...
My three used to love making camps when they were younger. How about supplying them with some double sheets or balnkets, and a pile of cushions, something not too crumby to eat and let them get on with it? Hopefully, this will give you enough time to curl up on the sofa with a book. although maybe only one of short stories...
Off to do a bit in the bedroom. It is very slowly getting better, but still not great. I'm planning on decorating straight after Christmas ( I don't usually get much work in January), so it has to be pretty well empty by then. On the plus side, DD has taken out all the stuff she wants to ebay. She's put it all in the sittingroom...
Lli_me Great to hear from you so soon! It may take a little time to get sorted, but try and be relaxed about it!! Welcome to your new home!!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0
