evening everyone.
busy day again here. DH still not in from work. I have quite a headache and still have some work to do for tomorrow, but thankfully the last day with kiddies so perhaps life will get easier then.
had a disturbed night with charlie last night. We had about an hour of crying between 9 and 10 ish, and had to give him calpol, he was crying in his sleep bless him. So then i was restless at the slightest noise all night.
taught 3 lessons today. All were ok if not fab. then a meeting after work, so it was nearly 5 before i got charlie from nursery.
since i've got him to bed, i have sorted the cats out and got a beef stew cooking on the hob for quickness. will have to eat some in a minute without dh as i am starving and can't concentrate till i have eaten.
rach, shell, vanilla and tracey big hugs to you all for your rough days. pigpen in shock here about the treatment of your nan. it's disgraceful - i would have thought the priority would be people in their own homes who are elderly or have young kids. especially as it is getting so chilly.
serena my observation will be part of the evidence for my performance management. Unfortunately since we were in special measures, every teacher was watched and put in a category like ofsted use. I had a real tough time of it before my maternity leave as they classed me as a 4 (unsatisfactory) and slogged my guts out to get to category 3. Then, because i have been off, i am classed as new to the school system again, so back into 4 i go until they see evidence that i am not. It is a bit of a shoddy system, and was basically used to encourage several of the older staff into handing in their resignation. I am just hoping my !!! of a manager isn't planning that for me, but i can do no more than i am doing.
anyway - must eat, and then must finish my prep for tomorrow. No idea where dh is but he could phone to let me know and not to wait for him
see you all later
Michelle, x0 -

Just sat reading everyones posts, hellos and hugs to everyone. Thanks for the hugs Solway, Michelle & Tori - thank you xx
Got a few jobs done today, mainly just to keep busying and have have managed to cross some things off my to do list. Won't get a lot done tomorrow as out with DS and dogs and then got someone coming to look round house later.
Sorry really not a good frame of mind tonight so going to log off xxLightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!
Baby on board!:D0 -
I meant to say before that I've also cleared out the understairs cupboard and rejigged a couple of things in the livingroom and managed to produce a bin bag of rubbish
Mind you, MIL gave me a set of heavy velvet curtains yesterday (and 2 rugs) which are now up at the front & back doors so I threw out the "make-do" ones (they stank anyway!). The rugs are now under the computer chair (hopefully will save the laminate floor from any more damage
) and in the kitchen. Just need to get some non-slip matting now
Just wondering what else will be waiting for us when we go up on Thursday as they're doing out their bedroom so having a really good clear out :rotfl::rotfl:

Evening all stylish sole that I am I am eating a cheese toastie and drinking white wine.
Survived Lazy Town and the journy into and out of London. DS3 now in bed, he had a great time so it was worth it.
Can't be doing with any sort of flying now, think I'll check in on a couple of other threads and then watch the news and bed.
See you all tomorrow for another fun packed day of flying xThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Oh - my flat is so clean! It's so tidy I feel great! Is it sad to feel so pleased? Kitchen is all organised - I'd done the bathroom at the weekend. We've moved all the living room into the bedroom while the builders take care of our living room. I've got a bit of time to sort out a few papers and I've sorted out some clothes that I just can't fit into at the moment until the babys born so I've packed them all away for the moment - work wasn't too bad either today - got loads done - hope everyones had an equally productive day?!0
