Morning everyone, slept ok last night took a while tho think it was after 2 before i drifted off. Thanks for asking dustykitten.
Sister just arrived so off on the job hunt, catch up with you all later, have a good day.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Coffee break before I start the painting. It's not that I'm putting it off it's just that I always end up in a right mess when I use gloss paint and I know I probably won't get a coffee or that for at least 2 hours
This painting is most definitely a job thats a case of "dont' stop until it's finished" since its all the doors. 8 hours to dry makes it 6pm at the earliest it will be dry - hence the reason I'm doing it while DD isn't here
Once they're all done I'll be turing the heating on, popping to Co-op for some onions to absorb the smell, and then whacking the heating up high to speed up the drying process
Then tonight it will be a case of burning incense & candles until the smell goes  Right coffee basically finished so I best go

Congrats to Mermaid *now runs fast in case its catching lol*
Rach - hugs but something better will come along hun
Think flying will be out of the window today. Supposed to be doing the usual adsa ahop for gran and then visit her but rang her for her list and my mum answered as she'd be called out by my grans carer. Seems shes had another fall in the night (already got one black eye) and is really confused and still not eaten for days. So they're just waiting for an ambulance to come free so they can admit her. So feeling a bit crappy this morning and sad as shes just given up on life.
Anyway, both fed and dressed - DS bathed due to a jippy tummy. WM been on and hung out, DS having a quick nap, beef stew in SC for tonight, everywhere tided and kitchen S&S.
Sat until late last night writing a huge list of jobs for November so might go to Asda and see if I can get some of shopping bits crossed off it (cards, etc) and then go to my parents and find out whats happening. See you all later xxLightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!
Baby on board!:D0 -
Morning all
Bathroom task all done:D , must go check shower curtain to see if that needs a wash. The rest of hte house has been swished and swiped too, I am worried at the mo so it means frantic cleaning as a way not to think (if that makes sense).
Made about £110 on ebay this week, still a few other things to list but doing it in dribs and drabs so I dont have a binbag full of stuff to lug to the post office.
Mermaid - congratulations! I kind of know how you feel in that DH and I decided to try for DD2 and I got caught first try! Really was not expecting that as it took 5 months for DD1. Ours happended whilst we were moving too, so I guess that old saying is true "New house, new baby" - are you listening Lil_me???:rotfl: you have been warned!
Got a parcel to post later so will drag littles to PO with me.
Really not in the mood for today can we cancel it please! I just wanna hide under the duvet:o0 -

Don't worry all the upstairs windows are wide open:rotfl:
I've had to stop for a bit as my hand is aching from holding the paintbrush. 3 of the 5 sides are done, just our room and the hall/livingroom door to do :j Only problem is that it looks like it might take a third coat to cover the mushypea green colour that was on them when we moved in properly:mad: If they're passable I'm only doing 2, if it was my house I would do the third but since we rent and the house is awful anyway I'm not too worried
Just noticed I'm going to have to do some painting on the kitchen ceiling
Right, time to juggle the washing around and I think I'll stick another load in on a long washBy the time that one is done, I should be up to doing the emulsion painting after some lunch I hope.

Mermaid & Shell-That's pretty much what happened to us with dd2 as well, I came off the pill so we could start trying in a couple of months an hey presto fell pg that month!:o I was in shock for ages and it took a lot longer for it to sink in then as dd1 was only 11 months at the time but it was great when I got over the shock!;)
Anyway haven't done much flying ye this morning, after dropping dd1 at school I headed to Bolton to argos to get a few bits that weren't in stock in my local store. Since getting back have s&s kichen and emptied and loaded DW, plus swept kitchen floor. Have friends daughter here now till about 2pm so won't get much else done. But I did my desk yesterday and bathroom Sunday so will give them both a quick s&s later.
Big job for me today will be the understairs cupboard.....I WILL DO IT!!DFW no.630!
