Can't believe there are 7 pages of replies already!

likklegibbon - I don't do sleep deprivation either! My poor children have a very shouty Mum at the mo LOL
I'd rather get up and feed a baby twice and go back to bed than get up at 4.45 and have toi stay up  You have the worse deal methinks

sexymouse - hi! I only get a lot doner at the weekend cos I make hubs look after the other 3 and I have to sit down to rest when I feed the baby, in between I just fly around the house ! Did you get that money owed to you yet ?(Sorry not on top of the goss yet). COngrats to your friend, Sophia is a lovely name.

No flying today, well I washed the bedsheets I stripped of our bed yesterday, does that count ?
And I did a fair few bits of paperwork this evening - childbenefit application and a load of thankyous. And I phoned Tax Credits today to tell them about baby. Was just sayig to husband I am such a list person!

Tomorrow I need to address and post all thankyou letters. This means buying stamps! And printing off photos to send husband's great aunt who is about 85 and wrote us a lovely letter when the baby arrived :D Oh and writing and sending b'day card for friend (it was today - oops never mind)
And other than that am taking all 3 out on a trip to country park after picnic lunch at leisure centre with friends so no flying tomorrow either. Tomorrow's tea is out defrosting though - sausage caserole for us and fish pie for kids.

Right baby just woke for a feed (an hour earlier than usual help what does that mean) so gotta run and will stay upstairs and go to bed. Hugs to anyone in need and have great Tuesdays,

    Jillxo

  • Morning all

Woke up at 3am again this morning and couldn't get back to sleep so gave up and caught up on the thread.

Was that bushed yesterday that dinner went out the window and the chip shop beckoned - couldn't face the cooking or the washing up, never mind flying - I think my wings have fluttered away this week.

Hard day yesterday at work at airport - am doing a supervisors job for a few months and what with loads of people off sick, dealing with a very bereaved young lady (just found out her 42 yo mum had died suddenly), chasing tramps out of the terminal who were raiding the bins and dealing with a group of disruntled delayed holidaymakers, I barely had time for a tea break in 12 odd hours. I luuuuurrrrvvvee my job - if only I could get some sleep!!!!

Last day on today then I get a couple of days to catch up at home and with my family

    Congrats to mermaid
Hope your move went well lil_me
Sorry to rach - your (and sexymouse's) dream jobs are out there - shame on them, their loss
big hugs to vanilla - it must be really hard for you and your hubby but some things don't get better without space and a bit of help
Have probably missed out loads of you - sorry but brain is like candyfloss this early tongue.gif
Have a good day flying everyone and please don't murder the littlies pigpen unless the lady's prison has got wifi so that you can do the lists from there laughing-smiley-014.gif
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

Marvellous Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Clean floors
    Level Two
[strike]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces [/strike]
[strike]Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)[/strike]
    Level Three
[strike]Clean oven if you didn't do it last week[/strike]

Twinkling Tuesday- Bathroom and Study/Pc Area

    Level One
Clean floors in these rooms (I always do kitchen floor at same time as bathroom as they're small and can use one bucket for both)
    Level Two
    Clean baths, toilets and sinks
    Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc

That's my edited list for yesterday / today. I did the bathroom on Friday so it's quite clean, so should be easy.

    Also have to:

    Do washing up
    Change cat's litter tray.

Again, I have to get this done by 9am, because I'm out all evening on Tuesdays and don't get in till gone 10pm. This calls for coffee...:coffee:

Thanks everyone for the good wishes. OH and I are pleased about the baby, but it's our flipping awful sense of timing that has us in mild hysterics. We were actually planning on trying for another one in a couple of months, but got a bit careless. Boy, do we ever get things wrong! I don't even know how far along I am, as I've been so busy with the move that I'd lost track of dates, but it's probably around 7 weeks or so. Shame I sold the cot and high chair the very day before doing the test!

Managed to pack 8 boxes yesterday. Hoping to manage a similar number today. Need to pack up as much as poss of the office (OH can't as he needs to get paperwork done), then get him to pick his clothes for the next 10 days so I can pack the rest, then do the CD's from the living room. Fortunately Mum is coming to take the toddlers out for the day. Also need to find litter tray and scoop ready for move. Fortunately as I'm pregnant OH will have to deal with that. Hey, being pregnant has its benefits!

    Have a good day all!

    Love,

    mermaid

That is about all I acheived yesterday but up and at 'em this morning I have unloaded dishwasher and machine machine, hung on maiden and mopped the kitchen floor. Decided a whole week of no flying will ruin next week when kids are back at school, so back to the lists.
