Money is tight, but YNAB is working out well. Certainly feel more ahead of the curve than ever before. Household insurance paid for a lump sum, tax bill paid in full. Next terms accommodation bill paid, all chunky numbers, but all paid for from current account which is great.

Hi all :hello:
Thanks for all the support over the last year. Its amazing and I am sure I wouldn't be able to be this focussed without you lovely lot walking by my side.
For the sharp eyed amongst you the chunky savings rate in November was due to our selling the car, but even so, am taking that and enjoying it
Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year and here's to a successful, heartfilled and very debt free decade for us all:T:xmastree:

Thank you all. It’s been a very relaxing and lovely Christmas. Just back from another shift at our local homeless shelter so am feeling particularly thankful and privileged (in many ways)
Enjoy the holidays all

I am sure Lou, it’s made me think about how I can help more regularly. Especially now the kids are bigger.
So enjoying the calm. No visitors to entertain, it’s lush. I’ll do some chores today, but it’s not a hardship..at all.
Looks like the first CC will now be finished in Feb, not Jan. We are swopping the card we are focussing on as a interest free period on one we weren’t focussing on is running out. But the first one going is still within our grasp. Can’t wait. Looked back at our debt pile of a year ago which I noted on some papers I found in the study yesterday. Horrific. Getting much better now.
In other news we may have a new lodger for a bit. Unexpected but seems the right thing to do. It’s a short term thing so seems worth giving it a go, but does mean getting on with some decorating next week!0 -
Good news on the lodger
