Ooh that sounds great PF. Thanks so much for popping by and making the recommendation. . Sorry you’re having to follow a strict diet but if it’s the price of feeling well then it’s good you are having some good experiences too. I am not a huge fan of soya yoghurt but especially in cooking it’s a good call.
Rather trashing the diet now with an emergency cereal bar. About to munch my own arm off otherwise,..But at least I didnt pay for it...am on the long train journey home..... small joys as there are no large ones...0 -
Wow - am super impressed at you going car-less! :T And fab news that a CC will be paid off in Jan! :T (when many people will be despairing at the size of their post-Xmas bills....)
Re: plant based diet - have a G00gle on soy and hormones - from personal experience switching to soy milk and yogurt played absolute havoc with my hormone levels, so much so that I was tested for early menopause. I know some other females who really don't get on with it - and also some who swear by it - but it's just something to be aware of the possibilities - soy's full of phytoestrogens, from memory xI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -

Thanks guys for popping by. Yes greent it can be a problem can’t it? At the moment I’ve such a mixed diet I think I am ok, but I am starting to take supplements as I am not feeling tip top which I think is linked to being peri-menopausal and I will try and consistently do more exercise too. Did 2 runs this week, feel a bit stiff, but it’ll be worth it. Yoga tomorrow, which will help me stretch it out.
Money wise things are Ok and can’t wait to do a big money shuffle on Monday. Today was spendy with hairdressers for DD2, replacement make up items and a M&S £12 meal for me and DD as well as some ready meals for next week as I have some late nights for work....Really nice not to have to cook today but it does mean the diet is not being followed. Not terrible, but not as good as it should be. Too much cheese for starters! Will get back on the waggon tomorrow..
Hope everyone is having a great weekend

We have advance booked a car for a few trips in Dec and Jan but so far so good on being car free. Let’s just hope it continues... and when that card goes in Jan I will be dancing a full on jig :rotfl:0

Jig video will be coming I promise...just the tax bills for this year and then January to take care of first...but Jan or very early Feb we should be there.
Have been really busy with YNAB, not spendingand RL so apologies for lengthy absence
Really cutting back on Xmas presents this year, what a relief....and have hardly made any plans...another relief. As long as we can get a whole salmon from the local fishmonger for the actual day I’ll be happy. I’ll go in tomorrow and order.
Shocking weather here, so the fire is on which is lovely. Everyone calm. Planning to do a class later and have been for a short run inbetween showers...
Have a good rest of your Sunday all
