From personal experience HMRC are bringing in inexperienced external employees who are good at passing aptitude tests but nothing else. It's an accident waiting to happen.

Thanks ladies. Lovely time was had, evening went by far too quickly.

OH still building an I&EA unit for our study... maybe need to wrestle the drill off him.. I admire his diligence.. picked up immediately we got home :/ but honestly... it’s almost midnight!!!

The trip to IKEAL (as we say in Brizzle) was not cheap but it will transform where I do my work now... and I can’t always go audio only on what’s meant to be a video confidence call :rotfl:

There will be some bits to sell or F/C. Will sort that tomorrow.

I fluctuate about the tax situation Lou and SA- OH just paid it on Friday but still doesn’t know what spat out the different numbers, particularly as he’s PAYE with a smidge of additional earnings. The second letter he got didn’t even make it clear how he should pay HMRC. One does wonder..

Right best start trying to calm down my DIY hero... :rotfl:

  • HMRC are dire - I hate phoning them - if you CAN manage to get through of course!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

  • Room looks lush and F/C working well.

Final presents being sourced. Hope everyone is good xx
  • Have finally sorted the bills that will need to pay before end of Jan. Felt a bit sick at having to part 'cash in' an ISA at a time like this, but oh well. At least it's there.

All good and have pretty much stopped buying presents which feels good.

Long weekend this week (long planned). Can't wait as have only just stopped working..new role is in danger of sucking me in big time, but there are real upsides, like, did I ever say ;) no commute :rotfl:

    Have a Good Friday folks

    xx
