    Great Debt busting :) We are discovering local walks and parks too.. last week a corner of a big local park had statues we never knew where there. Today a blustery coastal path to chase away the cobwebs.

    we've found places we didn't know existed since exploring locally too. It's been great! 

    Love the comment about 18th century daughters and no dowry 🤣🤣 if you like period dramas I suggest you search for a lady called Claire McGowan on FB. She created some what's app chats and FB as if it was the people in P&P. Very clever and humorous 🤣 

    We've definitely been learning life skills here too; making cakes, emptying the dw, learning about washing and pegging out, knitting, sewing on buttons....  all good though.

    Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £10,020.92 out of £6000 after September
    OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £2234.63/£3000 or 74.49% of my annual spend so far (not going to be much of a Christmas at this rate as no spare after 9 months!
    I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the Grow your own thread
