brizzlegirl wrote: »So MBNA gone next month and hopefully the BC in April. I’ll take that. Then just 2 more to go, although one of these is for a large amount I’ll admit. We are also funding an ISA for the kids uni/house deposit etc which whilst massively depleted last year is going back up again. We also had some necessary house repair items which we also managed to absorb.
So off to do some work now but quite buoyed up, we are really making this debt bashing a habit now. And no longer sure I’d like to live any other way...

Thanks L- it’s a Speyside so quite smooth. I think they do an Oban too which although I haven’t tried Aldi’s version is my favourite type of whisky. It’s called Glen Marnoch I think. It went down well judging by how little was left
Great night. Food was amazing. Salmon and barley as well as haggis with fermented turnip. Lush. Crananache (sp?) for dessert. Reciting poems, some games, singing and some fortune telling with lumps of lead. Excellent frugal night. Mrs FW would have approved!
Will catch up tomorrow. Now time for tea and bed. Thanks for dropping in all xx0 -
Sounding good as always
Glad you had a good night. I rarely buy whiskey although I do like it.

I loathe whiskey.
Once many many years I drank every whiskey (To try) in a hotel in Arran.
Cards sounding really good.

I also loathe whiskey, beanie - as a result of getting extremely drunk & ill on it many years ago - the smell still turns my stomach now _pale__pale_I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200

Ha!! And with your heritage too beanie
- I have grown to love it, after working in Ireland where they told me to drink it with water. Not neat and definitely no ice.
