Hi all
RL proving to be seriously busy. But it’s a job I enjoy and it more than pays the bills, so I am very fortunate.
More money put against the tax bill, which I will pay in full early next week and some more against the first CC which will be paid off in full by middle of next month. Can’t wait. Lodger money and maintaining this grip on the finances through hourly (well several times a day on YNAB) is definitely yielding results. Our credit reports are good or very good now which also shows we are turning a corner.
So MBNA gone next month and hopefully the BC in April. I’ll take that. Then just 2 more to go, although one of these is for a large amount I’ll admit. We are also funding an ISA for the kids uni/house deposit etc which whilst massively depleted last year is going back up again. We also had some necessary house repair items which we also managed to absorb.
So off to do some work now but quite buoyed up, we are really making this debt bashing a habit now. And no longer sure I’d like to live any other way...

Paid tax bill just cos....well you know. Might as well.
Going out for a friends' Burns' night. Will be lovely and am reusing tartan items we already have, recycling a present and taking a bottle of £17 Aldi whiskey that has been recommended by a friend who we often share whiskey tips withso quite bargainous. DD2 is working a catering shift and DD1 is studying...well I think she is...she's also messaging the family quite a bit so maybe not
Will try and drop by some diaries tomorrow. Hope everyone's good xx0 -
