Always very nice!!! You make me laugh at times when I come on here.
My sil could do with not just a lightbulb moment but a whacking great floodlit football pitch type moment...............I get all excited about a £15 bargain pair of trousers of work and she turns her nose up at a price like that. Where I live we have a great shopping centre but she'll go to the nearest city for the "label" stores. Go figure!!If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T

It's because it emphasises a feeling of belonging - "I'm in the same group as <insert name of noxious celebrity here> because she shops at <insert name of shop that pays said celebrity thousands for advertising>"
It's the same feeling that encourages full grown men to wear football tops/sports gear, despite the fact it actually accentatutes just how badly out-of-shape they are. They then think they're all in one happy team: "I could be on the pitch with <insert name of football player here>, scoring goals against <insert direst 'enemy' football team>", despite the fact there is as much chance of that as Jabba the Hut doing Swan Lake.
