As a satisfied customer of Payplan I have to defend them by saying that when you log into your account it does quite clearly state that interest is NOT included and to contact them if the APR is excessive.

In my case the interest that HBOS added extended my plan by 6 months.

Now I wasnt happy with this BUT I accepted it as I was paying for 7 years anyway and so wasnt bothered by the extra 6 months.

I haven't got anything against payplan and I'm not having a go but I just didn't realise - and it wasn't a nice surprise for me!

I'm just using the forum to vent my frustrations at finding out about this as its a long old journey we're all on and sometimes I just need a reminder that I'm not the only one and support is out there when I'm feeling low. An extra 3 months does bother me.

Not a problem !

Vent away becase it will make you feel better even if you cant do anything about it !

I will thanks - and hopefully i'll get some support rather than made to feel like i'm an idiot for not realising this.

You will definitely need to get yourself a thicker skin if you're planning to hang around.

It is a shame that youve just found out about the interest, but your determination will get u there.
