  • Hi all, can i join please,:T

I calculate that my DFD (Excluding mortgage) is September 2017 so not that long to go now !! I'm slowly chipping away at my rather large overdraft and all spare monies from overtime and selling are being used as additional payments towards our credit cards. We are determined to do it ourselves, no DMP, and can't wait until the final payment is done.

Good luck everyone on your journey...however long it takes :j

  • Urgh, why is it that everything seems to run down at the same time?
I need some new clothes. Not want, need. Things have holes in that cannot be repaired, that sort of thing.
Have various vouchers/gift-cards for clothes that I was hoping to save for something that's happening next year but it looks as though they'll have to be spent on 'ordinary' stuff.
Our LBM: Dec 2011. DMP started: Jan 2012. Debt at LBM: £41,568

    Oct 2012 = Current debt: £40,548.93
    Oct 2013 = Current debt: £39.054.70

  • Dont be too hard on yourself when you need new things, enjoy the clothes shopping and start saving vouchers again for clothes /:) xx

Hi there, can I join please? I don't have a DFD yet as I'm not on a DMP - think it would be good to work one out for myself. Then I can work on bringing it forward.........not sure how to work it out though as have so many different items and rates of interest!! Can anyone suggest the best way to work it out? Is it the same as the snowball calculator? (I've never done that either!:rotfl:)
