    My DMP balance id about £17,600 but at current rate will take about 38 years...that will fly by :rotfl:
    DFW'er - Lightbulb moment : 31st July 2009 - £18,499
    28th October 2019 -     £13,505 - 27% paid off.
    Demolishing my House of Debt.. one brick at a time!! :)
    Thinking of spending???..YNAB says "NO!!!!"

    Hi All!!!

    I just found this forum and... i am so glad i did!!

    I am in debt, mainly due to college loans... but have a little bit of credit card debt as well. I have a plan in place to pay off the credit card debt by the end of 2012 (December 2012), but my school loans will be quite a long time after that.....

    I was hoping to join this support forum!! I don't have many "like minded" friends and really need the support! i tend to "binge" spend at times... and I'm beginning to recognize it. I know it happens when I am stressed... and I guess knowing is the first step to fixing, right?

    I'd like to join please! My DFD isn't that far away but it fluctuates constantly due to heavily fluctuating income, so I'm not really sure how accurate it is :eek:

    Hi and welcome newbies, we will all get to our financial freedom, we are in this together. There is no shame in owing money and I know it's not always an easy subject to discuss with people face to face that's why sometimes posting on here can be our saviour. I have about 20k secured debt and 19 unsecured if I overpay a 1k from jan I can be cler of the unsecured in 15 months so hopefully I can achieve that and see a way forward. I believe nothing is set in stone and things can change daily and we just have to go with it, no problem is unsolvable just takes time. Xx

    My DFD is July 2019! I believe this will qualify me as a long termer. Do I get a prison number?

    LBM 12.09.12 - £53K in debt.
    DFD - 11.07.2019 (OMG).
    New DFD is 28.10.2018 due to paying the absolute maximum.

    Thanks to everyone on the DMP forum, and to SC for helping me out of this huge hole.
