She was being horrible to one of my pupils-nasty lady  Thought it only fair that I should be horrid to her :rotfl: She's actually one of the rudest people I've ever come across & is really cold too
I was particularly cross as he was doing a bass exam today and after she had a go at him he was a bundle of nerves-it was only Grade 3 too!

I would too, but being on the receiving end makes me feel a lot different. Also, with my debts being with companies, if I'm having a tight month, I can cut back the payment a little and just do the mins. If my debt was with my OH I wouldn't want to do this.
It is a good idea, and he would be willing, it is purely me not wanting to do it. Stupid I know!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
In the first post on this thread I am number 19. It was 4 months after my light bulb moment and I knew it was going to take a few years.
Today 18th June 2010 I am debt free. £64276 paid off.
Good luck to those who are on their way. I have continued to read the thread and it has helped me when I can see I was not the only one finding it hard to stay consistently motivated....ups and downs are OK....just coming back and reading the stories of others has helped me when I have fallen off the wagon, or needed to slow the debt busting for a while.
Thank you
Spirit
Well done Spirit, that is fantastic, how did you do it? I love hearing other people's stories."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

 I have been reading a lot on this forum and wondered if I can join please! I have just started my DMP with CCCS and at the moment my DFY is 2069! However, at the moment I am unable to work but will be looking for something part-time in a few weeks. Also, I have not yet written my best-sellers, so the year will hopefully be much sooner! Also, as I am 56 in July I really, really need it to be earlier!
This is a fantastically supportive group and I look forward to joining this very select club of lovely people.

Welcome Frugalchic, I'm only a newbie on this thread too. I'm sure you'll get your DFD down significantly."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
