I am facing a bit of a dilema at the moment. My little boy turns 2 soon and he really needs to start going to some kind of nursery. He NEEDS it! And i know he would love it. He is such an active, intellegent little boy and he needs more than just being looking after by me, my hubby and my parents. He needs to be around other children now. Everyone keeps telling me this ........ but .......... i just don't see how we can afford it! Hubby works full time, i work 3 days a week and am not able to increase my hours. (me and hubby work opposite days to each other to avoid paying childcare)
I recently got a pay rise and am planning to pay the CCCS a bit more next month and am SO desperate to get ours debts paid off now, to put my little boy into a nursery would mean we have to lower our CCCS payment.

Wouldn;t you be able to claim some of the cost of nursery back through tax crredits ? I think you can claim 80% back, but check on www.entitledto.co.uk to make sure. Then when hes 3 some of the time would be "paid" for anyway.

    Good to see people chatting
Hope the nursery dilemma is sorted. Could family etc not take him to mother and toddler groups so he gets his interaction that way?

Hey Happy! Oh how fab it would be if Boots was open til midnight :D hmm on reflection maybe that would be a bad idea lol :p I went there in the break between the rehearsal & concert-never grown out of playing with their makeup no matter I how much of it I own :rotfl:
Had a nice day today with some extra teaching for exam pupils. Spent too long doing it as usual but they're really nice so I enjoy it & I also got paid extra by both parents & got given nice tea & coffee too :D could think of worse ways to earn money! Went to my parents' house this eve as well as my brother & his girlfriend & had a nice time with my dog providing the entertainment :p
Hope you're feeling alright isom-could you try different tabs?
