Hi jwill whos is the money then if you are selling ?? should they not be selling if theres so much seems highly unfair that you take the most of it :P

It is split between my DH and his brother - I don't mind doing it as I know it will get rid of it quicker. They are neither computer literate, nor organised. I do get benefits from it too though, as I don't give them the money until the time for a chargeback passes, so I whack it on my debt to reduce interest and then pay them it back later. Luckily this seems to work and I've only had one or two items go missing in the post, so it's all been fine.

Hi all! How is everyone? Welcome to jwil and any other new Long haulers i have missed!

Went on our sun holiday in Cornwall last week (Mon - Fri). We managed to have a few nice days out thanks to Tesco Reward 'Day Out' vouchers. ;) It was hard being on a fairly tight budget though, being on holiday is really one of thoes times that you just wanna not worry about it!

I am facing a bit of a dilema at the moment. My little boy turns 2 soon and he really needs to start going to some kind of nursery. He NEEDS it! And i know he would love it. He is such an active, intellegent little boy and he needs more than just being looking after by me, my hubby and my parents. He needs to be around other children now. Everyone keeps telling me this ........ but .......... i just don't see how we can afford it! Hubby works full time, i work 3 days a week and am not able to increase my hours. (me and hubby work opposite days to each other to avoid paying childcare)
I recently got a pay rise and am planning to pay the CCCS a bit more next month and am SO desperate to get ours debts paid off now, to put my little boy into a nursery would mean we have to lower our CCCS payment.

I just cant decide what to do for the best! :(

Thanks for the welcome babyplum. I would put your son into nursery if you think that is the best thing for him. His welfare has to come above your debts. They will still be getting paid off after all!

  • I see I thought you were selling it and both you and oh were not getting anything. Just out on the garden. Bliss

They are a pain, and I will clear them. I want to clear the debt to my OH more than I do the 'official' debts as that makes me feel worse. But all the little extras I am doing at the moment are going to the 'official' debts so they are going down as well :)

He has offered, but I am reluctant - I would feel bad about every penny I spent, thinking I should pay it back to him instead. It would still only get my DFD to 2014 anyway.
