Hi there:j
Another NSD for me - I can stay out of the shops (just) but you can buy LOTS of stuff on the Internet LOL......& I browse & buy if I'm bored!
Busy busy today though, got packages & stuff to get ready to mail, have done no food shopping since last week & had HM soup/bread for lunch, dinner is steak from the freezer.
Now have to see to my website customers & think about more stuff I can put on there, also send off packages (see above). Still no heating on during week (unless we have visitors) & have found lots of thermals too whilst turfing out of bedroom....more later..... have a good day everyoneNew start JAN15 - NOT BUYING IT 2015 :eek:. Hi all!! Well not been around for a while but will catch up with your posts today or over the weekend.
Still plodding along & it isn't going to bad at the moment, but I guess that will change with Xmas around the corner:rolleyes:! Day off today, usually work my day off for extra cash but not many people off at the mo so we're more or less fully staffed. As I said before it is a sign of things to come so got to get used to living on a basic wage. With this in mind we're going to look at easing the pressure a little so instead of setting a target of 6 years to clear debts, we are going to set a target of ten years & try & gain as much ground as possible & try & shuffle as much debt as possible onto low LOB & 0% CC's. By the end of the year we should be between £35k & £36k in debt so the new plan will divide the total debt by 10. So say if we're £35k in debt the new plan will go like this;
December 31st 2010 £3,500
December 31st 2011 £3,500
December 31st 2012 £3,500
December 31st 2013 £3,500
December 31st 2014 £3,500
December 31st 2015 £3,500
December 31st 2016 £3,500
December 31st 2017 £3,500
December 31st 2018 £3,500
December 31st 2019 £3,500
Obviously we hope to be DF alot sooner but there seems to be so many obstacles in our way, so following this plan we should be able to slowly clear the debts whilst being prepared for obstacles that will happen from time to time!! Thanks for reading folks, back soon!!DEBT AT LBM(1/7/07)-£35,052.19 DEBT (31/08/10) Average amount paid off P.M. £67.96 Paid off so far £2582.68(7.3%) Target to pay off in 2010 £2,340.14/£3,600 LH Supporter(165) DFD September 2110:eek:0 -
Hi, gosh 2019 if you are more comfortable with that do it, its hard debt busting constantly and feeling reliant on overtime so go at a pace that is manageable then you feel abit more happy
glad your back im ready for the start of a new year

Thanks HTGDF, yes I hope that we can get there alot quicker than that but that's the target we have set ourselves. On good months we clear over £600 but on bad months we can overspend by a few £100's,so paying off an average of £300 a month is a sum we both feel comfortable with, if we can pay more than that off great,but if not, at least we know that it should be manageable to pay that average off each month. We have alot to fork out in the new year, having problems with a leaking roof in DD's bedroom, had friends out to try to fix the problem but roof still leaking water through, so going to have to get it done professionally, the fascias are falling to bits too so will have to get new ones. when it happens it all happens at once so to speak.... whilst you are able to manage your debts get the bits that need doing doing because otherwise it could perpetuate to worse so i agree debt will just have to work around you and you not work around it.... we have had some busy months paying things and it just gets on your wick nothing is cheap anymore grrr, can a family member not loan you to sort the roof ? or cna you afford it but just reduce the overpay on debts ? xI AM A MONEY MAGNET, THEY ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FOR ME AS WE SPEAK:pMIKES MOB, DFW NERD 1071, DFW LHS 132!MIRACLES HAPPEN I'VE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES. Thanks HTGDF, yes got to sort leaking roof ASAP & that will definately be the first priority after Xmas. Will have to reduce payments as much as possible if need be. My Mum will help out if I ask her but we already owe her £1,600, so don't want to ask her if I can help it! As you say nothing is cheap anymore & we do try our best to be DFW's the best we can, but it really is difficult at times. The main thing though is we are healthy & both working & the debts are managable, it's just such a shame that we are paying a large chunk of our wages towards debt week in week out. Only ourselves to blame though & we will keep chipping away!! All the best & thanks for reading!!DEBT AT LBM(1/7/07)-£35,052.19 DEBT (31/08/10) Average amount paid off P.M. £67.96 Paid off so far £2582.68(7.3%) Target to pay off in 2010 £2,340.14/£3,600 LH Supporter(165) DFD September 2110:eek:0
