Hey all,
Hope everyone has had a good week and is looking forward to a rainy weekend tucked up inside!
I am completely knackered after working extra shifts at my second job, but am saving the money for christmas so I don't mind at all! Plus, I have the entire day off tomorrow so will be enjoying some relaxing time - fire, good book and some nice tunes on the stereo. A very MSE day.
What is everyone else up to?

Hi rambling I'm tucked in bed I will be dozing back off again I hope I'm on my nights eugh but thinking of the unsocial. I finish Sunday am yay me. Debt busting gosh it's eating a chunk of mine and ohs wage but I can't imagine how cool it will be to save big chunks and go buy in full I intend to look into a half decent car as soon as I'm df paid for in full lol woo x

My friend works nights, I can't imagine being able to switch from one to the other all the time! Good extra cash though.
I also can't imagine being able to pay big chunks of cash for things. Its such a weird thought when you're so skint. With what we pay, we could use one months payments and get a nice 2 week foreign holiday! Although I'm gotten to be so tight I will probably just stash it all away for a rainy day and be scared to spend anything! hehe.

Enjoy the rest of your sleep, and when the rest of us are preparing for another week at work you will be finished your night shifts and ready for a day off!

Ha I will have four lovely days off. I'm also so excited because on Friday new moon comes out so I'm bouncing off the Walls waiting to see it. Ahhh imagine the car sales man face as I say no I pay in full if no car now I'm going somewhere else haha and I'm having a bonfire to burn all cards or going out buying a big bottle of some good alchol and ringing all the debtors up to thank them for the lack of help. I hope that in the next few years as we get debt free they all go bust infact if I ever see an application I may ring and say ' due to your customer service search I'm afraid on this occasionyour custom has been declined haha. Must try sleep I'm developing delirium haha. Ps do u have a diary I saw you on mine

Oh, I am so going to call them and tell them that!!!!!! For all the rejection they have given us. That really did make me chuckle.

Hello all

I've had that big step back feeling as I got a loan statement through and I'd grossly underestimated how much it was for with the interest added on. So my total figure went from LBM moment of 45k, to 43k after 2 months, to 48k :eek:.

Avoiding the temptation of saying sod it and going out for a slap-up meal and drinks on the card is HARD!!

I hope people feel more productive than me.

I still can't believe how much it's all added up. It never feels like a lot when it's spread over so many loans and credit cards, but when you do the sums it can be very scary indeed._pale_

Seriously, it won't make you feel better. The interest is a killer. But the loan will get paid as its every month with a set end date. Ignore it for a while if you can. You've done really well on the virgin, a grand already! Thats very impressive. And if you're paying minimums on everything else they're coming down slowly too.
Its not fun to put the total back up, I have to do that to mine as we've had some expenditures we couldn't avoid, but use it to make yourself more determined to succeed.
You need a treat, bubble bath and a good book? OH to give you a back rub?

Ahh mum to be chin up we are getting there when we get there and land over the positive balance we can do moonies at your creditors. Debt is debt money is money but life is for living you enjoyed your cash as did I it happened for a purpose he'll some of mine was a god send so now I'm passing it back trying to remember the good times but glad it's come to an end on ridiculous spending. We are hear and ready to cheer for u. I kept deleting my amount because I felt I'll looking at it now I sort of think my figure might help someone else feel better and so I leave it. It's that time of year but girls we are seriously kicking out some number crunching vibes in 2010 pow wow and all that business if I am insane I lack sleep xxx
