The long haul supporters thread...

Hi all think I should join the long haul club too. Have just joined the DFW board but DFD is 2013 Like a lot of people I used to lurk on here too embarrassed to post or admit problems but now 1yr into DMP with CCCS was best think I and OH did. Debts now not weighing so heavily on our minds and like others say just need to get head around changing attitude to spending but will get there and these boards are great help!!

Hi pwally welcome x I'm sure insearch will give you a number. I am stressing about Xmas gifts what to buy people etc etc it's awful when your debt busting and stuff grrr x

susie our Jacks is indeed an inspiration and I am priveledged to call her a genuine dfw friend! I'll ask her if she can pop over and give people some advice - I'm very proud of her as shes our first longhauler to smash the targest and get debt free with alarming speed by slogging her guts out, converting her family to the dfw ways and not spending! A real inspiration...

Hi all :hello:

Just popped in report the home-made soup was produced by Mum (visiting for far too long, but hey :rotfl:) so brought the leftovers in for today's lunch. Thank to the thermos flask, it was still warm at 12.15pm - filled at 7.15am.

Wonder if I can get her to make some on a weekly basis til she leaves? The upside is I'll be using the flask a lot more now! :T:T

PS: Just finished the soup and it wasn't enough! I'll have to hunt for something else to eat. I'd forgotten my appetite has gone up with all the exercise I've been doing. Will have to bring in more food from now on :rotfl:

:TI did it - told my OH this morning:T
He was cross, obviously but said he knew by the way letters had stacked up in various hiding places....:o We've sat down and he now knows the whole lot and he's been wonderful.
To anyone else stressing at telling their loved ones - GO FOR IT, they'll be hurt you hadn't confided in them before, but will stand by you, I'm sure:D

PS Poorbabe, I have to bring a sandwich to go with my homemade soup, its never enough! Spicy lentil and tomato today, works out at under 20p a portion, not too bad at all!

well done susie...always hard but a load off when youve done it! Soup is never filling enough I find, no mattr how many lentils you put in!!

WOW got my supporters number!!!! Yippeeee!!!!

Have been jog hunting for extra jobs to bring in much needed money. Already got 2 extra jobs now one delivering leaflets and the other distibuting newspapers I get all the good jobs!!!

Am also seeing a man tonight about another opportunity so will see how that goes. Hang in there everyone I am in this for the long and now have all your support makes it a lot easier!!!!

Hi folks I 'll be a long hauler as well so am joining in...just doing the final stages in order to get started for Dec 1. just hope my creditors accept the DMP...dunno why some of them still drag people to court when they can see your finances and that you are paying all you can into the plan...bit scared of this happening
