I’m in a similar position. My concern is: how can I be expected to agree or dispute the “final” Usio bill until I see what FU intends to bill me for the next period(s), including up to the date that I left FU for another supplier?

AND, why are FU still not showing the credit balance from Usio??

Had another look at the email FU sent me "on behalf of Usio" on 21st December. Doesn't appear to ask me to accept the situation -just gives the email addy for the debt collectors acting on behalf of Usio - bet they won't be interested if you want to dispute the size of the credit -they will just be interested in gathering in the debts!!

Still nothing further on the FU account pages - no credits , no final bills etc

Very true; in fact, I have spoken to the debt collectors, and they confirmed that all they are concerned with is collecting any debt owed to Usio.

They told me that I am not “on the list” so they did not have business to settle with me.
  • Hey all :) Just got my first real bill from FU, for the 19th Oct to 6th Nov.
Seems to match up with the final bill from Usio and has the £100-odd credit shown on that.

My god, FU are expensive! Those 18 days cost the same as 30 days on Usio!

I'm still not sure how they got the figures for the Usio bill, it all makes sense except for a mysterious credit listed as "removal of electricity charges" luckily it's in my favour and I don't need to try and discover what it is

The next bill should be nice and small as I jumped ship to Pure Planet (still in business, which is a miracle...)

How did you receive this bill? Still nothing showing in my FU account and I left them on 28th November.

Perhaps things are starting to move, then. On what date did your supply with FU end, please? My supply from FU ended on 26/11/18, and I’ve had nothing from FU, just the apparent final bill at Usio, handled by FU on their behalf.
  • Last day with FU was the 25th November.
Final Usio bill on 13th December (email)
First FU bill 16th Jan (email)
FU website shows virtually nothing, just an opening meter reading!

Inching forward perhaps, with Usio/First Utility:

I have just received an email from FU, with an attached PDF, showing a credit balance from Usio, and also billing me for my electricity from 19 October 2018 to 3 November 2018, and no figure for Gas, just a standing charge for 15 days.

However, this position is STILL NOT SHOWN in my online account with FU.

Still nothing here beyond the final bill on behalf of Usio ,sent on 21st December.
Since my supply ended with them on 27th November, perhaps I'll get a bill shortly if they are handling things according to "departure date"

@markipad -is the estimated reading for leccy on the 3rd a reasonable figure?? ie in line with usage previous. Because the figure I gave FU, which they have recorded for 3rd November is actually lower than the "estd read used for the Usio bill on the 18th October!!

@brewerdave - yes, the reading for 3rd November is correct according to my own readings, and is shown as “industry” in my FU account. In fact, this is the only reading so far, at FU, that is “industry” !
  • Given that I left FU 8 weeks ago and they are supposed to issue a final bill within 6 weeks, I'm going to lodge a complaint with them.,
