If you liked the hello fresh recipes you can just go onto the web site and click on the recipes - I printed a few off that I fancied and bought the stuff myself 😂Sealed pot challenge 822

Good idea Dawn! Definitely got a plan to create little meal kits for the fridge to make cooking easier once the kitchen is in!
I'll send you a PM beanie 😊
Just had a quick check of bank - premium bonds winnings are in, so I've transferred them to the kitchen fund, which now stands at £4876.25 which is 69.7% of goal 😊😊 Getting there! That goal is £7000 which gives us a total of £30k - I know it's going to go over that, but I'm not going to increase the goal now, I'm going to get to 100%, and by then we'll know the total cost, so we can have a new goal for the remaining bit.
So, today. Barely done anything yet - made pancakes, let chickens out, lay around reading. Mr Cheery is full of cold and I hope I'm not heading the same way, but since several of my colleagues are also sniffling, I suspect it's almost inevitable. Yawn.
Still, I do want to get some things done today! Will have a look back at my epic list from yesterday...6 -
Ok, let's see where we are with this list.
HOME
* washing up
* put dry washing away
* sort clothes in bathroom
* tidy kitchen
* hoover
DIY-RELATED
* get 'new' sink out of garage and give it a good clean (it came out of a skip 😂 )
* give everywhere a good brush and hoover
* remove extra doors and radiators from by back door
* remove gash carpet that the plasterer has spilled water all over 🙄
* see if there's anything in my study I can shift
* put up some bits of kitchen ceiling and see if I need some more plasterboard (plasterer used the 3 massive sheets I had - I said he could, there would probably have been a mark up if he'd ordered more!)
GARDEN
* clean out chicken house
* more scything
* shift some cut grass for mulch
* move lintel off the lawn
* tidy up - there's old sand bags and bits of building stuff everywhere
ONLINE
* email re granite and door knobs (YAWN)
* update spreadsheet
* cancel Hello Fresh - I'm at the end of trial period and now way paying full price
Ok, getting there. Turns out I've got one more week of discounted Hello Fresh so I'll use that then cancel next week. Might need a timed list since I'm feeling so drongy today!

3-5 POSSIBLE CAFE TRIP
* Just being realistic here
* assess plasterboard situation for a B&Q trip if necessary
5-7 INSIDE

You have been busy Cheery but it's good to read there is progress (albeit stressful and unsettling) on the kitchen. Hope it all remains in budget for you. Glad you're making some time for pleasure too with cafe trips and meeting friends. It's so easy for these things to slip when we are busy at both home and work.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!7

Got some friends coming for lunch in a couple of hours, so I'm going to do a little bit more scything now, then get on the case making some food. One of them might help with a bit of scything later which will be nice.

Lovely balance to the plans, yesterday and today. I'm also loving that a sink came out of a skip, thats *so* good!2023: the year I get to buy a car8

Our kitchen sink came out of our neighbour's barn where it had been stored for years. Before that, it had done many years of service in the kitchen.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
