Thanks 😊 Although as it happens I didn't even have a drink - it was too far away from the sofa 😂

Got sidetracked talking to my sister, and then spotted that bloody fox out of the window again 😮😮☹ Not til about 9pm which is when I'd expect to see one, but NOT happy at the thought of it being a regular haunt, just as we were starting to get a bit less paranoid again ☹

On a cheerful note, I had my letter from HR today confirming my drop to 4 days 😁😁 well, no smiley faces, just 'your pay will drop and you will lose holidays' 😂😂 Good to have official notification though!

Ridiculous morning so far. Didn't set off quite as early as I would have liked, and then got stuck behind cows, quarry truck, tractor, learner driver... Rang dentist to say I'd be late, they said it was fine, but when I arrived 10 mins later they said they'd have to reschedule because I'd 'missed half of the appointment' (which was 45 mins long). Fine, whatever (although I'd be less annoyed if they hadn't made Mr Cheery wait 20 minutes for his appointment the other day).

So no dentist, but we've been to a cafe and seen some chickens and are having lunch with a pal shortly.

Grrr to the dentist indeed!!!  You'd have thought they'd exercise a little discretion!

It was a bit annoying (and on top of everything else this week did make me burst into tears - although fortunately not until I got back to the car).

Still, it might be the push we need to change dentists. We stayed with our old one because it's not far from work, but obviously I've not actually been in the office for well over a year anyway. So we might move to one close to home, especially as Mr Cheery's dentist at the same practice who he really likes is leaving soon.

Oh my dear Cheery - tears are not good! A hearty seconded to your decision to switch dentist!

Hopefully your current dentist has a feedback form where you can give (firm) constructive criticism!

Sorry that you were turned away from the dentist Cheery, it does sound as if it might be time to find another.

I hope you benefit from dropping one day at work - just make sure you don't end up doing 5 days work in just 4 days!
