I'm with you on having had enough already today.
First thing this morning, woke up to find vomit on our path, no idea who did that - nobody from this house, so that needed clearing up.
Then I received a call, I had requested this but they rang without warning, spent an age trying to resolve the problem but we have made no progress.
Whilst doing maths dd accidentally knocked over her hot chocolate, it when over me & up my sleeve, over the textbook, the floor - so that needed clearing up and I needed to change, the washing has gone on.
I have yet to get any of my tasks today done, I am torn between starting the day again and cancelling Friday.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Oh dear BB!! 😮😮 That is quite a terrible start to the day, I do sympathize! What's say we just all skip over Friday altogether?? I've still not done any actual useful work yet anyway 🙄7

Hooray for hugs 😊
Saturday!! Finally!! It's been a LONG week 🙄 Bit I've had a cheery enough morning watching gardening videos, and watching the birds on the bird feeder, eating pancakes for breakfast, doing a bit of matched betting (down £1 so far today - well worth the effort 🙄 )
Put some washing on, and I've spent a happy hour in the greenhouse talking to my sister and planting the first of my seeds! Yay! Just tomatoes and several types of beans so far, but got a few more lined up that I might put in later today.
Mr Cheery had his vaccine booking letter, and is booked in for 20th March 😁 Got to go 17 miles for it though - they're only doing over 65s and people with underlying conditions in the local town, so he's got to go to a 'regional centre' (which bizarrely seems to be a small church hall in a suburb). Exciting though!
He's also been clearing out more stuff 😮 can barely get to the back door right now 😮 so that will have to be dealt with soon.
Lunch first though!8 -
Evening chums, hasn't the weather been glorious today?? 🌞
I've planted out more seeds, cleared some more ivy, and sat in the greenhouse for a while for the sheer pleasure of being toasty warm 😁😁
And then - big adventure - I met a friend for a walk 😮😮 Not done that since last year given that my closest friend is 6 miles away and we're meant to be staying local 🙄 But goodness me it was a tonic, an absolute tonic, especially with the sunshine 😊😊😊
She was late, so I sat on a bench for a while with a book and it was utterly GLORIOUS. My soul felt just a little replenished 😊😊😊
(And I had cake for/instead of lunch, so that always helps!)9 -

Idly thinking as I drift off...
I think I'm trying to 'prioritize' too many things at the minute 🙄 not surprising as there are lots of things to do! But by trying to make them all 'most important' I'm not really feeling much sense of progress...
So I think I might need to pick a couple and make those the ones I do first each day, just getting round to the others if there's still time...
Here's a list of the things I'd like to prioritize but which can't ALL get consistently prioritised at once while I'm also working full time and being responsible for most of the household tasks & admin 🙄
* exercise- I am SO unfit right now, huffing and puffing just taking boxes to the car 😮 walking about an hour a day, but it's not enough, and I stopped running because I hurt my leg
* flexibility - desperately need regular yoga/stretching - it'll sort my leg out and mean I can run again
* Healthy eating - eating all kinds of random rubbish right now
* decluttering - Mr Cheery has started clearing out his stuff, so there is stuff everywhere, and my piles of stuff are becoming more obvious... impossible to keep up normal cleaning when everywhere is in such disarray. Gone completely feral during lockdown with no visitors 😮
* garden - I've started planting seeds in the greenhouse, but I've also been trying to tidy up, remove all the debris, make it a nice place to be for when we can have visitors
* outdoor maintenance - hay field needs cutting, walls need rebuilding to keep cows (when they come back) out of the woodland, woodchip needs putting as mulch round the trees
* kitchen ceiling - need to finish putting up the plasterboard!
* dosh - started MB again and been spe doing loads of time on it - partly because of all the things on my list it's the one that requires sitting down... 🙄
Having such a list with no sense of priority means i don't know whether to exercise when I get up, start work early so i can finish early to get outside, do some MB, or stretching, or whatever. Mostly i do MB over breakfast because it's easy, but sometimes it drags on and I start work late, meaning I finish late etc. Not ideal.
Not making any plans tonight, just lodging it in my brain as something to address soon...

Just chipping in to make sure it's also lodged in your brain that you promised yourself you would not do the hay yourself again this year....Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

It can get a bit overwhelming can’t it?Work obviously needs to take priority, as that pays the bills. And the chickens have to be let out, fed and put to bed.
while exercise is important, it’d suggest starting with eating properly. I got back to it by meal planning a couple of days at a time and planning to use up the rubbish gradually in a way that meant it wasn’t rubbish anymore. When I need to get back on track I tend to do the Fast80l till I get back to target weight, and time restricted eating to keep me disciplined about when I have my meals (which can be fun with work...).I’d suggest seeing your outdoor work as exercise for the moment as it is active, outside and will help you get things done. Ticking things off the list will really help you mentally. And rural living does tend to mean that ‘exercise’ is actually ‘labouring’!Is Mr Cheery going to the tip while you’re at work? Or are you planning on getting a skip? Either way, decluttering can (for now) be done after dark or when the weather prevents outside work. The same with the kitchen ceiling. And you have a deadline for these, as they need to be done before the builder starts!
Yoga and stretching are important, but you won’t get the benefits if you feel you should be doing something else. Perhaps you can give yourself a decluttering/cleaning deadline and once that is done dedicate some space for yoga?7 -

I get to go to the Arena. Next nearest option was Leeds or Manchester! Exciting as it is I wish I was going to a gig or even to buy tickets for a gig!. The upside is i got to book both jabs so by the 8th of June i will be fully innoculated and ready for the summer
