Morning MSE chums (although I suppose it's the afternoon now?!)
Back at work after a nice long weekend outside in the garden. Got loads done - finished edging my veg beds, cleared out the chicken run and used the old bedding as mulch, Mr Cheery dismantled some of the old pig shelters to use the roofing materials for the chicken run roof, I started bottling some of the old nettley-weedy fertiliser 'tea' stuff I'd made last year, lots of nice pottering bits.
We also had a little trip to one of the local market towns, gosh it was SO nice to be out and somewhere else. Actually walked down the high street which we've not done at all since all this started. Joined in with the tiny Black Lives Matter protest (really tiny, and very socially distanced, with a single policeman keeping an eye out), and popped into L1dl for the experience of a different supermarket to the usual.
MUCH excitement this morning as our favourite cafe started doing takeaways for the first time! Obviously we popped in - they've removed all the chairs and have a one way system and one in, one out thing going on, hand sanitiser, only doing a small range of stuff etc. Sat and ate our scones and flapjack in their car park and it was very nice to look out on a different set of trees. Obviously the treats budget has been rather ignored these last few weeks... but now the cafe is open again I'd best start topping it up again...11 -
Must be the morning for it. Mr TDQ and myself ventured out together for the first time since Lockdown. Our dog found it quite strange to be left home alone and it was just about an hour. Went to the local carpet shop to order carpet for our spare bedroom and they are going to lay it on Thursday. Brought the old bed downstairs to the front room so that it is ready to go out for bulk collection by the council though that won't be til next week and Mr TDQ took the old furniture that can't be repurposed to the local recycling centre. He has been decorating all the time we have been in lockdown so it will be great to have one room finally complete when the new bed arrives at the beginning of July5

Ooh, that is exciting being able to finalise a project TDQ!
I'm having a rather vexing day technology-wise. Internet keeps wafting in and out for no good reason that I can see. Had to ring IT earlier because of something stupid that wouldn't work, and now I've been on hold for 16 minutes and 10 seconds to slimming world because I tried logging something on their app and it's decided I'm not a member any more. Looks like it might have done it to a lot of people but I confess I've given up now as their on hold music is just ONE song played over and over and over and over and over and I am NOT IN THE MOOD
Anyway, deep breaths. The sun is shining and I want to be outside but I can't because I have work to do, and all day I've been beset by technological nonsense. I'm sure this vexation will pass.. and I'm going outside at 4.30 anyway regardless of whether everything is finished or not!

OK. SW is sorted, work IT issue is sorted (and when I said 'I'm an idiot!' to the IT man, he said 'please don't use vocabulary like that about yourself'
)
Stupid home internet is wafting in and out today, no idea why. Having to toggle the work laptop to my mobile data and even that's wafting. Clearly I'm just not holding my mouth right today...
