Greying, nice to see you! Glad you liked the carrot recipe - it's been added to our collection (I didn't have any curry leaves, so it just went without). Hope all's well!
Poor Mr Cheery! Glad you had a good night's sleep though Cheery - but think of your back, you must get up!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Been in pain for several weeks now!
Anyway, I had a glorious night's sleep in the spare bed...
Totally agree on the 'other bed' glory - I often pick up and move to the spare room when OH's fidgeting gets too much! I totally get why my grandparents generation had two separate single beds pushed together! - No tidal wave every time the mister turns over!😂4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! We've been watching Danish crime drama recently and I've been enjoying the one bed, two duvets aspect
seems eminently sensible to me!
My study has been full of clothes and storage stuff for months, so it's been nice to clear it out over the last few weeks and it's back as a nice useable room now. Haven't had space to get the bed out for yonks! And yes, I'm still in itMy poor back is actually thanking me for the variety - I spend a LOT of time sat in a desk chair so this is a nice change! Won't be all day every day of course... but for now I'm feeling quite apart from the world and getting plenty done. Haven't felt tempted to open my emails yet - after all, technically I am still in bed...
And I'm getting far more work done for it!

Anyway, I had a glorious night's sleep in the spare bed, and it's so cheerful in here (it's the sofa bed in my study) that I'm still hereI've had a shower and got dressed and had breakfast, and am happily ensconced back in the bed with my laptop. Might just stay here all day - can't get back at the desk without putting the bed away and I'd quite like to sleep in it tonight too!

Depends whether one poor sod has to change both duvet covers, though! 😉

I think I'd be tempted to change my own duvet cover and leave the other one!

Two small duvet covers are a lot less hassle to change than one vast one - and you can have different weight duvets! I spend half my work life in scandinavia and am used to the separate duvets and often separate mattress toppers.6

Seperate mattress toppers - now there's a thought...🤔4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!!
