Evening chums :hello:
Ran out of porridge this morning  Fortunately I had some in work - but we've both forgotten again today
Also I was expecting a free lunch today, but for various reasons it didn't happen, so I ended up spending £4 in the work cafe. Had yesterday's slow cooker stew for tea though, and there's enough to take for lunch tomorrow :money:
Going to amuse myself by regaling you all with my MB exploits for the evening (gosh this diary's a riveting read at the minute isn't it?! :rotfl: :rotfl: )
Right, ready, steady, GO! :money:0 -

Evening chums :hello:
Not much to report today. Looooonnnnng day yesterday, left home at 6am and didn't get back til nearly 11pm  Then left again at 6am today  So no MB, not much of anything really:rotfl: Had to buy ALL meals out yesterday - but breakfast was £1 porridge, lunch was a £3 sandwich, and then tea went to pot and was lunchables and crisps from the garage
All three meals for under £10 though - not ideal but some days it just can't be helped
My new wellies arrived today and there's a small notch out of the top of one of them  I was about to start return proceedings, when I noticed that the notch is actually visible in the photo. Small, and I hadn't looked at the photo too clearly as I ordered them on my phone, and they were described as BRAND NEW  So I don't think I'm going to bother trying to return themWon't affect use anyway.
Anyway, I'm bored of trying to sort things outHad to get a tail light fixed on the little car yesterday - rang a shop, they said they could fix, I arrived 15 minutes later - and they were shut!! The one person left said he didn't know anything about it, and couldn't help  I went to another one of their stores where I received excellent service - emailed this morning and told them about both.
Then today I spent all day trying to ring the good service store to get the number plate for the *other* car fixed after Mr Cheery had a small 'incident' yesterday when he was going forwards and another car was going *backwards* and their tow bar went through our registration plate  For goodness sake. Not clear whose fault it was (I wasn't there so it definitely wasn't mine!! :rotfl: ). Anyway, couldn't get through, and couldn't get through to their national customer service line either, so ended up tweeting them (and received a reply saying they were having a new phone line installed)
Anyway, apparently I can just turn up tomorrow and get a new number plate (need to remember to take all documents). But it's just YET ANOTHER thing to blithering sort out - and Mr Cheery can't do it while I'm at work as that bl**dy car is registered in my name.
Sigh.
Builder is coming back tomorrow - I HOPE they get it right this time because I am FED UP of going back and forth and just want to get on with the DIY
Anyway, need to go and get on with some more work - strike is definitely on from Monday and as much as I don't want to do work I'm not paid for, there are certain people I don't want to suffer. And all of tomorrow afternoon is taken up with an event I can't get out of, so there we are.
Yawn.
I'm sure I'll feel more cheerful about it once I've had my tea - Mr Cheery has put a Linda McCartney deep country pie in the oven:j :j

Hi Cheery,
Been reading your diary for ages and your original mb exploits inspired me to start mb finally last weekend, don't think I would have been inspired by your latest exploits though! Am £44 up so far in 4 days, got 2 matches being played tomorrow and will sort some more matches out tomorrow, I've got loads more free bets to use, I love it but it is quite addictive, especially the money! so thanks for being an inspiration

:TYou are still very much quids in on the MB, so the odd loss doesn't matter.
I feel your pain with all the running back and forth and sorting things out mallarky. It's like buses, they come in threes at least. Hopefully, you will get a quiet spell soon, where everything runs like a dream.0 -
Afternoon MSE chums :hello:
Hey Strawberry Suze  Nice to see you - yes do jump in and post! Commiserations on your rennovating... but congratulations on you MB exploits! :money: the beginning is certainly lucrative - casino longer term is lucrative but has more ups and downs...
Still waiting for the quiet spell ElmoR :rotfl: Number plate fixed speedily for £21 yesterday :j but they noticed the light has actually been affected by the bump too so it'll have to go into the garage to be checked....
Anyway, not today :j Today we have been to the cafe for breakfastand nipped round the charity shops and done some local errands, and are now home for lunch with no plans to go out again :j
I do have some plans for the afternoon though... but I might do a post about that once lunch is done :j0
