Cheery's country living adventure

That's an interesting reality check! Must be frustrating for you, but thanks for putting the details online. Hope you got some fluting in, and that you and Mr Cheery can have a relaxing evening together.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I did indeed KC, not a bad list-crossing evening actually (although the one thing I didn't do was financial
not a good thing to admit on here!
:rotfl: )
But yes, that's a fairly typical evening of MB for me :rotfl: I'm mostly doing casino offers at the minute, so it is always win a bit, lose a bit, and then every now and then you win £50 or £100 or something. Overall today I'm down about £6, but I'm up £204 for the month, and £4417 overall so it all adds up :money: Got to be able to handle the ups and downs if you do casino though. I never do anything above low risk, which means I'm mostly wagering £10 or £20 at a time, so the losses are never that big...
Anyway, Mr Cheery has made it home from his adventure with treats :j so that's the rest of the evening sorted:j

Aaaaaand it turns out we forgot our own 14th anniversary
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Oh well. This time last year I was in the middle of an overnight ultramarathon attempt so it's not like we usually celebrate in a big way :rotfl:
And the year before we'd JUST signed all the legal paperwork for our new house and our buyers' buyer pulled out so we spent our 12th anniversary in a grump on the sofa with a bottle of vodka :rotfl:
This year has definitely bee.mn better than that, even if we did forget!! :rotfl:0 -

Ha, bless you all :kisses3:
Not quite sure what to do with myself todayIt's my last day off before going back to work, and obviously I've not really done anything I wanted to. No DIY (waiting for the builders to finish their bit), no car (got sidetracked with Mr Cheery's selling adventure which took rather more time and effort than anticipated), and no gardening (it's been raining most of the time!)
Seen various friends and had nice cafe trips and things but doesn't feel like I've achieved much
So what to do today? It's raining (again...) but there are a few things...
* YNAB (since I didn't do it yesterday)
* go for a run
* get the washing off the radiators
* more tidying in the bedroom
None of those feel very exciting if I'm honest!
Could go to the Rio- also not very exciting but we've amassed quite a pile of *stuff* through this building work and it's all just piling up outside and being added to - Mr cheery added an old microwave to it yesterday  MOST unsightly  and of course it's all getting wet and the plywood bits etc are disintegrating. There's a load of rubbish and recycling in the house too - we've not actually put any put for about 4 weeks
So yes, that feels like it might be a good project for today. Not exactly exciting :rotfl: but I'll certainly feel like we've achieved something!0 -
Go to the TIP of course - what kind of autocorrect is "rio"?? :rotfl: and now it won't let me edit on my phone, oh dear!

I quickly read it and thought, wow, Cheerys gone from saying she's not done much this week to plan to go to Rio  but I did wonder why you'd want to take plywood and an old microwave there0
