All you can do is put it down to being a lesson learned, albeit an expensive one.
Perhaps you might want to explore why you would hand over such a large amount of money to someone you barely knew for over a year by way of therapy so you don't fall into the same problems later.
If your ex is earning £18.5k salary, he's getting roughly £1.3k after tax every month. And all he can afford to repay you is £60?
