Right, first one is done, except for the trip out to the postbox - that'll be quite nice in this weather, tho.

Hmm a nice walk - sounds good!

Fancy dress is themed, Dragon - the 60s (there was a season 2 episode that took them back to 1969...) I have colourful sari pants, I'll tie a scarf around my head, a vest top with lots and lots of beads, dangly earrings, big blue eyes and lots of eyeliner, and I'm done! :rotfl: :o I'd like to use one of my pashminas as a shawl, but its a very definite look; if I can find the one I knitted back in the day (age 15!) I'll use it.

Ah right! do we get to see piccies afterwards :D - oh what do you do for a job again that the country going down the pan financially makes you more work?

    - [strike]go to the post office to get two stamps for French snail mail. Then print the letter out and post it.[/strike] DONE
    - [strike]have 3.5 hours of Work work.[/strike]DONE
    - [strike]phone call to my credit card company I didn't do yesterday.[/strike]DONE - and they've agreed to refund the £12 charges, so I'll stay with them, and set up a mandate to pay off every month.
    - [strike]*two* applications from potential clients![/strike]DONE - phoned one, emailed the other.
I also managed to do some weeding in the front garden, when I realised I hadn't been out all day (oops).

I like this list! Tomorrow is a *looong* day tho, so I'll hardly be on here at all. The only thing I'll definitely commit to tomorrow is to phone my bank, and sort out about this £166 they refuse to believe I banked.

:j :j :j *Really* quick post, not had time to read anyone else's diary at all... but I had to come on here. Rang my bank this morning, and apparently they recredited my £166 on the morning I rang them. Not *because* I rang them - because somebody read the cheques wrong, and somebody discovered the mistake! I was offered, and have asked for, a full audit to find out what happened. I can't tell you how relieved I am!

Well done, it is good when the banks admit their mistakes.

Oops! I'm a bit naive like that still, sometimes :rotfl: :o

Still, between the bank and the credit card giving me back my money, I'm happy.

Then, after finishing work and scoffing down my tea, I spent 40 minutes outside in the front garden, "weeding" - pulling up some beautiful ox-eye daisies. Trouble is, they were strangling the little succulents and lavenders I planted last year, as well as some self seeded clover. Just regaining balance in the garden.

Well done on getting the garden sorted - that is a job well done

    Hello!

Not much dfwing today, apart from an hour or so doing the virtual trading. Out for 12 hours today at work - I don't know how people who have ordinary jobs and long commutes manage it, and dfw too, I really don't. Hope everyone has a good day.

Some days you just can't fit DFW in........simply not enough hours/energy!!

Hope your day goes well, and that you are able to rest when you get back.
