I've been doing the tv survey, and won a fiver at Christmas. I enjoy it, but.... do I enjoy it enough to do it like that every day? No. Its just more time staring at my computer screen, tho mind you I've been playing some of Archna's games tonight for about an hour. Oops. Hope you're well, sea.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Good day yesterday - took *3* bags of stuff to charity shop, have been carting stuff around to clear an alcove in the living room (so I can stick a bookcase in there and free up the 2nd bed, so I feel better about using the room - thats a double post, as I was hijacking hypno again.
Today: more decluttering, *must* clean kitchen, check stuff online (including how to use the Tesco deals to book a Eurostar for that trip to see bessie mate in Germany), my final m.b. for the PB WR (ooh, how technical!) was cancelled cos of a frozen pitch so I need to find another one, cup of tea and helping a friend in the afternoon. Will I ever go into my garden again? Its looking increasingly unlikely. Then I think its glass of wine time.:p
Hope everyone has a good day.

I copied it into the post again cos I have every intention of getting those figures further down in the near future. Um, and I can't change the text size back, can't see the right button. Oops. Its the euro figure thats changed.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
 Here's a new one. I've just been out digging in the garden, so I can put fleece and bark chippings down and use the one shady spot to sit in. And I've come inside to get.... weedkiller!....   This is me we're talking about, there's a baby slug that comes inside my house sometimes, and I talk to it, I swear I do. Weedkiller! But there's a root as big as a snake thats come underneath a concrete path into the middle of the planned shady spot. I'm going to dab it on the cut root with a paintbrush I keep specially for that - I'll probably keep the jamjar/brush combo in the garage, with the weedkiller. I have to venture into the garage anyway, to read the meter (hate going in there, too much clutter - again :rotfl: . Not really much else I can do, I'm certainly not digging up a concrete path today, or ever really. Dying to get this shady spot thing done, and move on to the next area of the garden. I will need to go over the rest of it again quickly, but that will only take one "session". This is my outside task for February!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Is "clutter" a euphemism for spiders..?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
"We were born and raised in a summer haze." Adele 'Someone like you.'
"Blowing your mind, 'cause you know what you'll find, when you're looking for things in the sky." OMD 'Julia's Song'0 -

You know me too well! :rotfl: Just done it, nothing visible, tho great drifts of web hanging down from the ceiling.... when you don't have a car, y'know, and when you're a lazy tyke
, it gets like that! I think I may get a workman in to deal with the nest next to the stairs in the house.
Pania - yep, I did it - it was good, too, quite an accomplishment to get started again this year and *still* like it, like I did last year for the first time.
There was the ansaphone message I'd been waiting for when I got in, so I can legitimately go have a cup of tea now, at someone else's house. Bye guys!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
This decluttering lark is actually getting quite funny... finished work at 8.30 last night, too tired to do anything proper, so leafed through old reaccreditation files to chuck out duplicates. And this morning, waiting for coffee to brew, have just done the same to a load of newsletters I have to keep (will scan and chuck, eventually). I'm *still* on the easy stuff, which tells me just how much useless paperwork I have in the house.
*Actual* dfwness? Um, got an hour scheduled in today to work on trading the Dow Jones index, with my trading buddy. And while I drink the coffee, will finally be playing ***ladies. Must try and find a last bet at PB, but footie thin on the ground the next few days. Otherwise, not much. Must try harder!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hurray! Just won £8.99 at ***.
And the monthly Northern Rock repayment went out yesterday, thats £123.86 off the capital repayments, so equal amount onto the total repaid. Hmmm.... £8.99 doesn't seem much, but the total is now £26.98 from bingo, and it *is* for doing nothing at all (I don't even sit there, I'm off decluttering elsewhere :rotfl: ) so not bad really.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
My beloved decluttering has to take a back seat for a few days - I've got lots of admin I need to do that isn't getting done. I have been doing other dfw stuff in the meantime tho:
- finished pb and withdrew! Cos I completed the whole WR I only came out with a profit of 60% tho...oops.
- joined up wh, my next bookie, thats got to be v fast, everything completed in a week, so that will be my focus for the next week.
- put another half dozen items onto amazon - the stuff I've got is pretty niche now, so its going to be hanging around for ages before it sells, but at least I've been able to put it on the "amazon" shelf, which means its out the way.
- can't think of anything else! Really have to focus on the paperwork, so even the surveys I've agreed with myself to do, are not getting done, tho I must do the You Gov stuff, otherwise I'll be 80 by the time I get my £50!
Hope everyone has a good day.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
