Feeling a bit dozy this morning, tho I didn't start out that way. I'm just not sure what to do today. Still. Its five to twelve, for heaven's sakes. Okay, I'll go finish vacuuming the bedroom. God this life is exciting!

'sgood.... gardening ... out last night to a mate's new house .... fingers ouchy with all that gardening (think J Alfred Prufrock - I grow old, I grow old, I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.... I hear the mermaids singing each to each....) go Alfred, is all I can say. Getting more and more real that I'm leaving behind my present way of life - sorted out my tops, actually put 4 in the charity shop pile. Mostly vest tops that don't come down to my navel - I still wear vest tops, but I really shouldn't wear the skimpy-bottomed ones any more, they have to cover my middle now!

Well, I *finally* got my act together to do a couple of things that I was supposed to do today. Tidied a bit of stuff in the ensuite-to-be - I'm going to try to empty one of the cupboards in there, so I can see some progress. Took some old electrical stuff down to the garage to go to the recycling tip in a couple of weeks, read the gas and elec meters, and actually swept a bit of the garage floor! Its got leaves and building dust blown in over the years uh, nobody told me you had to clean garages. I thought they stayed lovely and whatnot on their own

Hi KC - thanks for the links. I'm trying to track down some time my grandfather spent in Glasgow in the 1940's/1950's but not having much luck at the moment.
