Yep, chocolate is pretty much an addiction for me - but it also means I overdose on sugar, for example. Peanuts - yep, I like peanuts but not addicted. As for the snoring ... I'm sure that something like the shape of the soft palate, or the shape of the dongly bit at the back of the mouth is inherited, it must be. Tho it could be accentuated by childhood environment too, I guess. Whatever, Bob, its causing you agony, I do feel for you.
xx
And your weather's been bad too! It kind of greyed over here, and since dark its been mizzling, but it was great to be out, thats true. Tra-la, Charlie Dimmock here I come.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Thankyou, i feel like i come across as a whiney so and so at times, but it has got to me and i was shocked at how long it had been.I am not very good at over tiredness and i joke about it a lot just to jolly myself out of it.And your weather's been bad too! I have visions of you on a calendar, suitably draped around Michael Shanks of course;) A la Dimmock:rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Ooh yes please! He had a 3-4 episode role in a new American series set in Miami, Burn Notice, and his death scene aired in the States this week - rave reviews! Picture me holding the copied DVD an Australian mate is sending me of him and Shannen Doherty in the Grand Canyon (aka the Canadian forests!)2023: the year I get to buy a car0

You are lucky. I may just hunt the series down on the internet.;)Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Edit to say lately with Vat reduction it has worked out at £35.
The free overseas calls were the clincher for me. I;ll pay about the same as Bob before staff discount is deducted-need to fill out the form for that....... which is somewhere in my paperwork mountainI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Oooooh staff discount:D I love that we can ring abroad, but have only used it at Christmas or special occasions. I am on the £19 package, bloomin brill but i hear the new one is very good too, and you just put add ons for what you want.
Thought it may be good for KC with the French banks:cool:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

I'm actually with Virgin at the mo .... and I use that email address for work, have done for years and years and years ..... if I change, it'll take a while, there's a lot of clients need to be informed
Nothing to report yet, haven't even thought about anything, tho its a lovely day- just going to have brekkie and a mooch around here.
Tho I did have the *oddest* conversation with my mother last night. Apparently there's a £10k ISA been sitting in Birmingham Midshires that she just *forgot*, and they've now reminded her. I want her to save it, she wants to either spend it (she *does* have way over the social security limit of savings, its true) or give it to me and my brother. She sounded so *angry* that my sister is well off, no wonder I can be weird around money.....2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Ooh is that the second series of Burn Notice KC? I really liked the first and with MS in there as well it will be one not to miss.
Sorry to hear about the lack of sleep BOB long term it must really drag you down. It may sound cruel but why do you get the couch? I would share that so at least you get a proper bed for a few nights. That with some earplugs might help.:j0 -
Hey KP, you're a Burn Notice fan! I love it. I love the detail, and I love the know-it-all voiceover, I always have loved voiceovers like that. And yes, its the second season that I'm yabbering on about - my email group has a little video of Jeffrey Donovan being interviewed that I'm just about to watch, espec. cos he mentions Michael.
And you know.... thats a really good point about Bob's couch.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
PS - just earned a really easy peasy 400 points from lightspeed - they offered me a product survey of some wipes, and the 400 points were for my feedback on the wipes, which genuinely were very nice. Happy little karmacat....
Oh, and my VC freebie is on its way home, after playing about with Spanish football last night.
Thats all, really. I've been playing about more with genealogy at the mo, just doing free searches online. When I think how hard it used to be to get information, and now you can press a button (well, about 30 buttons actually) and either the information is right there or, like at The National Archives, you can order it ahead to be waiting for you when you arrive. Its astonishing.
A distant cousin has just solved a query we've been puzzling over for years. What was the connection with a rich British woman living in the south of France? Answer: she was my great grandmother's cousin. From penniless Irish immigrant just after the Famine to millionaire lady with homes in Jersey and France in two generations. Not bad. Oh my god, I've just realised - finally, a role model in my family! She did it by marriage, sure, but how else was a poor Irish girl going to do it in those days! And she married a millionaire who just happened to support an anarchist newspaper! Good for Annie.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
