  • Can you post worms? :rotfl:

I also apparently have a visiting cat that decided that one of my containers looked like a good litter tray.. grrr.

Ahhh, those little hyacinths aren't so bad.

Anyway, what you up to today? :)

    The recipe today:
    - done the scratchies
    - checked online banking - takeabreak money STILL not here.
    - done half a dozen emails.
    - just got one hour paid work today (tomorrow is busy)
    - three phone calls for mystery shopping - one is *to* me, about insurance, very weird.
    - shopping delivery this afternoon, I've been running out of a lot of stuff. This one will hopefully do me for two months. I've got a tenner of vouchers off it too, if it all works out.
    - otherwise ... I thought I spent last week catching up on stuff, but there's still loads to do, too boring to list. I *am* going to try something new tho - in clearing the kitchen, I'm going to try to paint the edges of the window recesses (painfully close to all the new windows!!!) so that I can get a handyman in to put up those blinds I bought with Christmas money. Privacy!!! Yay! I'll try to do it immediately after my client leaves, so client unaffected by paint smell, and it has time to dissipate before the evening.

EDIT: better not post the worms after all :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: and YUK to pot as litter tray - I've seen cats do that, when I made my little herb window box last year, I stuck twigs upright into it to stop them doing exactly that. They can double as plant supports if need be, but it sounds like you need them pronto. Ewww.

Tee hee ..... I just made £30 with my standard mystery shopper, who needed to do phone interviews. They didn't know I was a mystery shopper either! Fancy being paid that amount of money just for blathering on the phone for 40 minutes.

I have *no* idea what I'm going to do today. The dfw-work money seems to be rolling in, I'm already only £150 away from my next mortgage overpayment, if everything thats supposed to come in, actually *comes* in. TakeABreak have finally processed my withdrawal, so the money is *now* on the way - its their money, so I [strike]shouldn't[/strike] won't complain :)

Got four hours of paid work today. All the windows of the house are open, except the room I'm currently in - the kitchen decluttering worked, I had space enough to paint the window inset and a bit of the bare plaster on another wall, plus the window inset in the ensuite-to-be. It looks a lot better! I'll do another coat, espec. for the window insets, and then contact the local handyman to put the blinds up. Then, privacy!!!! Bliss.

One thing I must do today is to ring my ISP - I got a quote from them for broadband/phone/satellite tv. I was going to give up satellite tv once Stargate Atlantis finished its re-run, cos I'm taping it :o , that would save £18 a month. But this deal, which is a lock-in for 18 months, lets me keep satellite tv, including Sky One, and still saves me £14 a month. With all the tv channels I get to keep, I think its worth saving £14 as opposed to £18 a month, thats still £168 a year. Quite a bit of money!

Well, I got the virgin voucher from qype, so that was good. And the little Jaxx matched bet came in this morning. TBH, I feel yuck again this morning, tho - I couldn't go to an event I was really looking forward to last night, because I felt so bad, lets say I couldn't trust my digestive system. I think its an appointment at the doc's, which will be about two weeks away, lets face it. Hi ho.

Thats with seeing the only woman doctor the surgery has - but just found out she has a cancellation at 9am on Monday morning. Trouble is, I'd need to leave here at 8am - they were already 20m fast walk from me, and they've moved further away, and there's no single direct bus - two buses wouldn't save time, there's still a ten minute walk on either end. Bummer. Sometimes I really hate my life - thats what its all about really, but I'm just hoping that maybe there's something they can help with temporarily.
